Great upgrade to my sub2k. Easy to use mount for my optic that I can keep on the gun. Just hit the lever and fold up my sub2k. Easy peasy
This is an excellent add-on to your Kel-Tec carbine. Super easy to install, done inside a half hour while watching the installation video. Adding a red dot and this mount makes it easier to get a proper cheek weld while wearing protective headphones.
Superb Craftsmanship and Easy Installation. That's what I have to say after installing the MCARBO red dot optic mount. It feels solid and works perfectly. I look forward to putting a red dot on it and shooting at the range.
I have not field tested it yet, but this thing is solid. Installation video was spot on and the piece fit perfectly.

These work great. They hold zero perfectly. My only complaint is the tacky bright white lettering. Every accessory manufacturer wants to put their name all over everything and by the time you add a few accessories to your gun it looks like a billboard. How about laser etching in your name without painting it white or at least a grey paint that would blend with the black better. The mount is already kind off big sticking out the side so adding huge bright white letters makes it really stick out like a sore thumb. This actually made me very hesitant to purchase.
Do you need a sight on your Sdeuce? Do you care about deploying it quickly, and keeping it compact? The mcarbo optic mount keeps it nice and tidy. The sight does hang off the side when packed, but the functionality is the best the market currently offers. Yes it's $149, but it's a necessity if you want a sight.
This is a no-brainer when it comes to mounting an optic on the Sub 2K. Very easy install and it works.
This optic mount took my favorite firearm and made it so much better. Having the ability to mount a red dot on my Sub2000 is something I always wanted but I did not want to lose the functionality of it folding. Thats why I bought it and thats what makes it such and innovative firearm. I WILL be making future MCARBO purchases. The flat face trigger and a couple other things will be next. I have purchased from MCARBO prior to my optics mount and was pleased then too. Quality products with fast shipping. What more can u ask for unless they wanna give me a job too lol. I was looking for an optic mount for my Sub2k, after seeing the video of the 2 different types Mcarbo was the one for me. Shipping was on time Packaging was done well I received it with no damage. Be advised, this is a high quality part and it’s not cheaply made at all. I find it well worth the money. Mcarbo’s customer service was excellent, they actually followed up to see if I was happy with my order.
If you add a optic to your Sub 2000 this is a must have! Easy to install and holds zero like it should. I'm very happy with this purchase.
I bought this on pre-order. If you've longed to put a RMR on your Sub2K, this is the way to go. It installs in about 5 minutes - so easy a child could do it. In fact, I had my 6 year old help me. I got it in the mail the night before a 3-gun match, installed it, installed my Sig Romeo 5, and bore-sighted it. The next day I ran a 7 stage match... in the rain. I decided to use the RMR for stuff under 50 yards and my iron sights for everything over. Transitioning between the two way an absolute breeze and I could do it single handed without taking my hand off the foregrip. The RMR stayed zeroed the entire time. I'm impressed.
