Just finished installing this on my 9mm Glock mag sub2k, very happy with the fit and finish. I had originally just used the existing rail on the top of the hand guard, so couldn't use the sub2k's folding function. With this mount, just flip the your sight out of the way and fold it up, super easy and nice. Thanks for designing this awesome mount!!
This optic mount is awesome! Really easy to install! Great instructional video online! Great product!
What a beautifully made item. No offense to the other company that makes an optic mount, they make great stuff, but this is in a completely different league. Super fast to deploy, really easy to install and is much more solidly attached. I know $150 might seem a touch pricey, but when you take it out the packet, you immediately feel and see the quality. Doesn't matter how good your optic is if your mount is not solid, stable and repeatable. This checks all the boxes.
This mount is sturdy. Probably the best option on the market for mounting and stowing an optic.
This was very easy to install I was very impressed by how nice it works
This was my first purchase from M*CARBO and I was very pleased with it. The mount was very easy to install and I did not need to use any of the shims that came with it. It does not get in the way of my hand either. Like the advertisement says, it is as solid as a rock. Thank you M*CARBO! P.S. I had no clue M*CARBO was in Clearwater FL or I would have gone in person, however I ordered from the website and received my package in 2 days.
Very good buy, easy to install. The mount is solid, and well made. Looks Great on my Sub 2000.
The M-Carbo optic mount for the Kel -tec sub 2000 works excellently. It allows the gun to be folded in a normal configuration with the only downside, being the optic protrudes from the side near the receiver. The rifle can then be opened and the optic deployed quickly and firmly. It returns to zero reliably. The cost benefit of the addition of a red dot to a $500 rifle should be considered. For long range shooting adding $1000 optic to a $1500 gun is probably about right. If you try to go too cheap with the optic, then you won’t get the performance you want, in regard to this set up it is a $500 (or maybe $450 gun) then add a $150 mount and a $ 100 red dot and you are at $250 for the set up. adding 50% to the cost of the gun is worth it in my view to get the speed and accuracy available by using a red dot. I am not at the point of doing a trigger upgrade or other upgrades with this folding gun, but the optic seems to be the minimum to do.
Super nice piece of equipment, fits great, doesnt bounce around...very quality piece.
Just received this mount today. Typically I don’t review a product before I use it but several people are giving poor reviews without even buying it! I can tell already that this is going to be a great mount. Great job M*CARBO!
Sturdy mount, flips out of way very nicely. My son was so impressed with mine I ordered him one and sent it to him. He's a Happy guy. Service was great, as always, shipping was fast, This is how ALL companies should operate.
Very well made and very easy to install. Because of the ergonomics and weapon size I’m mounting a Vortex Viper on mine.
Easy install, looks great! Haven't tried it yet so the verdict still out on holding zero. But fit and finish awesome!
Expensive, but that’s because of the outstanding machining. Attaching through the handguard instead of the mlock slots makes for a rock-solid mount. Wish the sub 2000 was as well built as this mount
It is a very good quality mount locks solid
Easy enough to install if you have the right hex key to remove original screws. Allen wrench included for the new screws. Seems to hold zero well. I installed a Sig Romeo 5 with tall mount. Is working well for me.
