The product is just as advertised (maybe even more). The installation was a breeze and provided the optimum solution for mounting an optic on my Sub 2k (.40 cal).

So I installed this sight base and let me tell you it is great, I have showed a few people and they like it better than the other ones. Great idea, excellent manufacturing and very practical. I would recommend it.
Bought the optic mount and the notched rear sight. Holds zero probably better than if you were to mount a red dot on the factory plastic piccatini. The rear sight added the perfect height so you can actually aim without crushing your cheek bone. The installation was a walk in the park. Looks great. Thanks guys!
I was a hesitant to purchase this given the price, however, the gun is so much more usable now! Install was a breeze. Now I actually shoot my sub instead of leaving it in the truck.
I bought one for my Kel Tec 2000 it is exactly what I needed for my red dot. This bracket is very solid and looks great . I bought a second one and gave it to my son in law to put on his. Thank you for great stuff! Tony L
I really debated getting a red dot for my Kel-Tec Sub 2000. I started doing research and found a couple of options. I kept on researching and found YOUR PRODUCT allowed me to still fold my rifle. I purchased it immediately. Upon receipt, I installed it and zeroed my optic ... and BAM ... it works like a CHARM. I don't loose my zero and I can move my optic when I want to fold it!!! Excellent product!
Another great product from the guys at MCARBO! Quality tooling through out. Watched the installation video and had absolutely no issues installing the mount on my rifle. Everything fit perfectly and I mounted mt Sig Romeo 5 on there. I got the left-handed version that is now available and it also came with some shims in case it was canted from Kel-Tec mfg. processes. Mine looks ok to me as is though.
The best option for mounting an optic on the s2k! Much better then the Midwest industries mount. Easy to install, works great!

Just took my Sub2K to the range this weekend, all I can say is wow... Held zero, stable platform, and worked as advertised. Like all products I bought this thing is amazing...
Got the part in put it on the gun all the hardware was supplied It works flawless. Will be ordering another one for my son
I would leave a 5 star review. However, I work with tools for a living and noticed that the hardware that came with the optic mount is mediocre at best. 1 of the screws fully stripped and another got pretty close. The screws seem like really soft metal. The main flip up component is made extremely well and is a genius concept for this configuration. Better Hard ware and I would give this product 10 out of 5.
I have been messing around with an optic for a while. I have relegated to taking it on and off and placing at the bottom of the carbine for storage when I folded it and then moved it. Now, there is no need and the installation was a breeze. This is a game changer for my truck gun!
