I shoot competitively in 3 gun and Tactical rifle matches and cannot afford my magazines to fail me during a competition so I install these Xtra power springs in all my PMAG's. i picked up a half dozen GI mags and one had the brown follower with its special spring, so in rehabbing these mags i ordered all new magpul followers and this spring good to go!!
These absolutely DO work in Hexmags. I've done several with no issue. Not sure why they claim them not to work.
