Once you take out the trigger pack, it takes no longer than 30 seconds to complete the job. This upgraded the trigger for my 11-87. The trigger is noticeably lighter than the stock trigger. I will be upgrading my father's shotgun as well.
I installed two of these. Both on older guns with fairly light trigger pulls to begin with. ( an 870 and a 760 ) Both were around 3 3/4 lb. average to start, and both improved to 2 3/4 lbs. with a much better overall feeling trigger. Well worth it! I took them both to the range and are functioning well.
I put the MCarbo sear spring in my Remington 572. Didn't have a pull gauge but it feels like it dropped about 2 lbs off the trigger pull. Installation was simple and took me about 5 minutes to remove the trigger group and replace the sear spring.
I swapped the stock sear spring on a Remington 7400 for this product which brought the measured trigger pull down to 3.5lbs from 4.5lbs. No light primer strikes or ftf experienced thus far on around 18 total rounds fired from the rifle. An easy swap worth the money and time if looking to improve from the factory trigger pull on a similar firearm.

I ordered the trigger spring after I checked the trigger pull on my Rem 870. It was right at or just over 7lbs. After installing the spring it is now at 3.5 lbs. I was amazed and extremely pleased. Not only did it reduce the trigger pull but it actually feels as if it is smoother with no creep. The whole installation took about five minutes. Buy it you won't be disappointed.
Maybe the best $12.95 I've ever spent! This was just the trick for my Remington 870 SPS. I have a red dot sight on this gun and use it for turkey hunting. Trigger pull is much improved. I measured it at 3.3 lbs after installing the new spring from MCARBO. Very easy to install and took less than 10 minutes. Thanks!

The trigger on my 870 made me think of a tectonic plate. lots of force to move and down right grating. This spring reduced the pull pretty much as stated. The fringe benefit is that the creep and rough feel went bye bye for the most part. For the cost I have a trigger i can live with. It's not the Calvin Elite I have in my 6.5 Creed but for the purpose of this scatter gun it's great. A simple install that requires everyday tools. Video can walk a dunce through the install. The service from Mcarbo was first rate. Cost was in line. Buy and try. I can't see you being sorry. Thanks Mcarbo.

I had a field grade Remington 1100 from 1963 that had a very good trigger that averaged just over 4lbs. I installed the MCarbo spring and it went down to 3lbs even, with virtually no variation. Very happy with the quick shipping.
