First off I have to say that the customer service these guys offer is beyond excellent. As for the spring I cannot be more happy. The trigger pull with the stock spring was 5lb 7oz. Withe new spring, it brought it down to 3lb right on the nose. As I said, cannot be happier. I live in Canada where it is hard to get accessories. They are always out of stock. I will definitely consider MCarbo for future purchases.
This trigger modification is very easy to install , it takes only minutes to do. I wish that I would have checked the trigger pull of stock trigger before I started. But when I was finished it was a tad bit over 4 pounds. It’s worth doing not only for the better trigger pull but while you have the trigger assembly out you can give it a thorough cleaning. I would recommend it.
I ordered a spring kit for my daughter's shotgun and decided to try this one on my trusty old 870. I do not have a scale, but the trigger pull weigh was noticeably reduced. The kit was very easy to install. I have not shot it yet, but on a snap cap the trigger feels much better. Great product
This is an excellent upgrade for any Remington 870 shotgun! Super simple installation. My trigger broke at 5.5 lbs. before installing this spring and now it breaks at a smooth 3.5 lbs. my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! Super price and super quality. Please try one. Purchased this kit to improve the gritty and heavy stock Remington 572 .22 LR pump rifle. Boy, did it improve the stock trigger. My rifle now has a smooth clean 3.6 pound consistent trigger pull that breaks like glass.
I bought three of these kits and installed them on my 870 and my two sons' 870s. I tested each shotgun's trigger pull before and after installation. Each shotgun's trigger pull was reduced by exactly 1 lb without sacrificing reliability or compromising safety. M*CARBO makes a great product, they have provide easy to understand installation videos and have great customer service! What more could you ask for?

Works as advertised. Still a safe trigger but half the trigger pull. These guys shipped the next day. If you have installation questions they provide a video. Brilliant!
Just got this in and installed. Video made this installation so easy. First time I've ever attempted it. Definitely could tell a difference in the trigger pull after install. Nice and crisp break now!
As I have said in a different review, I am not a gunsmith. Since joining the M*Carbo Brotherhood, I have now successfully modded a couple of my firearms, a process made easier by viewing the installation videos for the different mods. My 870 now has a lighter, smoother trigger pull and my confidence in my ability to augment my firearms has increased.
Super easy to install. Took less than 10 minutes for each of my four shotguns. The three 870 shotguns had the trigger pull consistently go down one pound in pull, and the 1100 pull weight went down 1.5 pounds. Excellent product! Can’t recommend it enough. Ultra reliable with a consistent trigger pull.
Just received and installed this kit in my second Rem. 870. Reduced trigger pull from 6.2 lb to 3.3 lb. Excellent results!
