This spring is way thicker that the factory spring, I'm already impressed and I haven't even fired my shotgun yet. Can't wait!
Bought this new part and it definitely reduced trigger pull weight as advertised.Also shipping was fast, it arrived three days before the expected date.Always a pleasant experience shopping with mcarbo.
I had the spring installed in 5 minutes so easy. I went out right after and shot 6 rounds and what a difference in the pull. Night and day. Wish I could give 10 stars
Very easy install. I suggest upgrading the safety switch while you have it removed . I installed four of these. The only issue was removing trigger assemblies from the Tac-14 DM. Once out easy install
I purchased this product to get a little more accuracy shooting turkeys. With my choke tube/shotshell setup, my 870 is like shooting a rifle at anything closer than 25yds. This spring did decrease the trigger pull by a good margin. It's simple to install and it works. Thanks Mcarbo!
When looking into triggers for the 870, Timney was the first to pop up. I had a hard time grasping the $100 price tag for a shotgun trigger. After further searching, i learned of M*CARBO. This spring for my Remington 7600 was definitely lighter than the factory spring, however, after I installed the spring, the trigger was still at 5 lbs. The spring, I think helped, but the trigger on this rifle was just god-awful. There's about 2 miles of creep, followed by 5 lbs of pull, so I think to fix this rifle, it needs a timney trigger.
Spring kit for Remington 7400 installation was easy after I watched the video everything went according to plan took aproximately 10 minutes works like a charm
I gotten this spring for my rem 1100, so I tried it on several other Remington's I have, and the spring also works in the my 760, M887 12ga. So now I'll to have to buy 4 more springs to do all my Remingtons. Awesome products M Carbo.
This spring kit was super easy to install on my 870. Took about two minutes from start to finish. Even if you don't know your way around a gun, the video shows you everything you need to do in order to install it yourself, and I am confident that my 8 year old could do the job effectively. It DID lower my trigger pull. It DIDN'T lower it quite as much as advertised for me, but I am still pleased due to the low, low price and insanely easy install. If you want a slightly better trigger, get this. You won't regret it.
I received the spring kit in the mail and while I did not run a timer the upgrade took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. No hiccups. In fact the process was easier than the excellent install video showed. Maybe this was because my shotgun is an actual 870 and not a clone. Result: feels like a decent rifle trigger rather than a shotgun trigger. I will enjoy it. Many thanks!
By far the easiest and best upgrade I've made to my grandfather's old shotgun. Trigger is buttery smooth now. You guys make awesome products!
Took a few minutes to do the job remove sear spring installed new sear spring I could not tell the difference but still recommend.
I received the spring in record time and it installed easily. Trigger put on my 870 went from 4.6 lbs to 3.5 lbs in minutes. Very happy.
Was so pleased with the service, I ordered the springs for my 11-87 because it broke duck hunting and they had them to my door before the weekend. I Was able to shoot duck that weekend with the new spring in my gun. Thanks guys for being so fast. I will use these guys for my gun stuff.
