After cleaning and polishing the stock trigger, I changed the factory spring to this one. I am pleased with the finished product.
When I purchase a new gun I immediately look for a mcarbo spring kit upgrade. Shotguns, pistols, rifles, etc... mcarbo never disappoints and customer service is great! Springs for shotguns are the simplest to install I installed new springs on my 12 and 20 in under 20 minutes total.
Found this spring to replace my old spring. My Remington 870 is much easier to shoot now. The install was Buick, easy, and the instructions very clear.
This is the second seer spring I've purchased with hopes of significant pull reduction, but the results were not as significant as I'd hoped. My 20 gauge Remington 11-87 originally had a pull of almost 5.5 pounds. After I replaced the OEM seer spring with the MCARBO replacement the trigger pull was consistently 4.75 pounds. I can feel an improvement and the instructional video was great, but the reduction achieved wasn't as much as was obtained in the video example.
Installed in less than 10 minutes. Video was very easy to follow and covered every aspect of the install.
Used 2 of thes to modify later model 870's with heavier trigger pulls. Watched video, replaced sear springs, safety checked, gauged triggers. After modification, the trigger pulls were 3.5#, now matching pull on my older 870's.

Late last week I ordered six of these trigger springs to replace the factory springs on my 760's 7600's and 870's. They arrived yesterday (Monday) and I installed all of them today (Tuesday). Amazingly easy to do. The installation video was a big help.
Reduced the trigger pull on my 870 from 6# to 4.75#. Was hoping for more of a reduction but pleased that it did reduce it by 1.25#. It was a simple installation thanks to the great instructional video! I have installed several Mcarbo springs in the last month and have been well pleased with them all! Will purchase again.

I've purchased 3 of these so far. This trigger spring is a noticeable improvement over the factory one and I haven't had any issues with any of the firearms that I've installed them in. The trigger pull is smoother, lighter, and overall better feeling. Don't fool yourself into thinking that it's going to be like a gunsmith trigger job, it's not nor should it be. Those involve replacing more than just a spring, and stoning and polishing contact surfaces. They are labor intensive and expensive. Replacing the factory trigger spring with this one from Mcarbo is cheap and easy. It offers a much improved feel and is an excellent compromise for someone looking to improve their firearm without spending hundreds at a gunsmith. I plan to install these springs on all my future Remington purchases.

This spring is great to reduce trigger pull on my 1187 Remington shotgun.
Only took about 5 minutes to do the swap with the stock spring. I don’t own a trigger pull scale bout it is noticeably lighter with less creep and it breaks clean. This is in my rifled barrel 20 gauge slug gun, I’m very happy with it!
