Super quick shipping and a very easy install on my 870. Took less than 5 minutes. Did not measure the decrease in pull weight, but it was noticeable and significantly reduced the trigger creep. My 3rd order from MCARBO, will definitely buy from them again. Top notch !!

This spring reduces the trigger pull without compromising safety by altering the sear or hammer. The installation video is was easy to follow and covered all aspects of the installation procedure. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with mcarbo again.
Easy installation with a great installation video. Had it done in less than 5 minutes and it made quite a difference. Used a digital fish scale to test and see if I could tell a difference myself. Factory spring was 4.7 lbs and 4.9 lbs pull and the MCARBO spring was 3.3 lbs pull both times. Good crisp trigger pull. Also had great customer service, quick delivery and an American made product!
The same day fast shipping was outstanding and second to none. The trigger spring in the 870 kit worked as promised; it reduce my trigger pull from 4.5 to 3.5 lbs. Just where I wanted it. I definitely recommend this kit to improve the trigger pull.

MCARBO responded to my earlier review by sending me another seer spring in hopes that spring to spring variation contributed to the lack relatively small pull reduction I got with the first spring at no charge. The second spring was less stiff than the first one and resulted in a pull of 4.25 pounds on my 11-87 (down from 5.5 pounds with the OEM spring). it was still less than the 3.5 pounds mentioned in the description but noticeably better than the OEM spring and .5 pounds lighter than the original replacement spring.
Purchased this spring for my 1187 in hopes of reducing trigger pull weight and it works great! Setting this gun up for deer with a slug barrel and scope so it’ll be used more like a rifle vs. slapping the trigger and throwing shot at birds or clays. My trigger pull went from 4 3/8# down to 3 1/4#. The spring is well engineered with evenly spaced coils and square ends. Watch the video Chris has on the site and it’ll take you longer to gather your tools than to replace this sear spring. Did I mention the service? Yeah... that’s great too!

This new spring feels like it cut the already great trigger pull weight in half. The trigger feels exactly the same, but it is almost a hairline trigger now. Awesome kit.
