It took a grand total of 5 minutes to change this spring in my 870 Express. Took it from 4.1 pound average to 3.1 pound average and it feels really smooth. Only needed the punch, hammer, screwdriver, and a block, and everything came apart nicely and went back together nicely.
I have a left-handed 870 Express. The entire operation took 10 minutes, only because I took my time removing the trigger assembly. The old spring came off easily, without needing tools, and the new MCarbo spring slipped on just as easily. Took the trigger weight from 4.1 pounds down to 3.1 pounds. Couldn't have been simpler.
Ordered this product to decrease the trigger pull in my Remington 750. Easy to install, great online instructions and dramatically reduced the trigger pull. As always, the service was prompt and the product did what it was supposed to do. Great company!
Had a full bag of springs for several weapons. Have installed all but 1 and this old Marine struggled some . The Marlin mod.60 was difficult , you must have the instruction video on super zoom . Got everything done and all work well. 2 were for 870 and 1187 and work great , easy to do , just wish i had a trigger gauge. Can’t beat a trigger job at those prices. PUT ONE IN EACH OF MY 870'S THEN FOUND OUT THEY WORK IN MY OLD 742 WOODMASTER THEY WORKED SO GOOD SO I ORDER ANOTHER ONE FOR IT WILL UPDATE AFTER I INSTALL IT

Purchased Three (3) Trigger Springs on reputation and installed in three 870's. First 870 a fairly new hardly used NWTF presentation model...5.5# Trigger. After spring replacement, 3.25#. Second 870, circa 1968 with 4# trigger. After spring replacement, 3#. Third 870 (belonging to friend)...4 7/8# trigger. After spring replacement, 3#. Its not often you find a $13 part that drops in and makes a dramatic difference in the performance. This spring is truly one of those parts. Great product!
I installed this kit on my Remington 870. Dropped the trigger pull from 5 #’s 8 oz’s to 3 #’s 10 oz’s. That is 10 pull averages. Final completed install shown in the photo. Highly satisfied and I highly recommend McCarbo trigger kits. I have installed 7 with excellent results.
I had done some trigger work on my Remington 870 20ga and had it down to 3.25lbs. Decided to give these springs a try after seeing some positive results. Well now my trigger is a crisp 2.5lbs and is perfect for the setup I have it in. Worth a try
My trigger pull before the installation was 4.49#. After using the MCARBO SEER spring it was 3.05#. That is just perfect for my Remington 760 in 30-06. I would not want it any lighter than that. The installation, following the MCARBO installation video was easy. The price is right. A note to 760 owners, make sure you have a contained assembly space to do this as 760 bolt plungers and its larger spring have a tendency to want to escape. Hold everything together as you simply slip into place the MCARBO SEER spring and you will be done in 10 minutes. I highly recommend this easy and useful modification.

Used this spring in an old Remington model 742 semiauto 30-06. The original trigger pull was a rough and gritty 4 lbs. Replaced factory spring with Mcarbo spring dropped trigger pull to 2.5lbs...planning to disassemble trigger group and polish hammer and sear. This should fix the rough and gritty part
