That beefed up mag eject button make a big difference. very good upgrade
Several previous reviewers complained about the mag release button sticking after tightening the screw. This issue is likely caused by the Ruger spring, not the MCarbo part. Mine was sticking after installation, but it was easily fixed by reversing the spring orientation. Smooth as butter now! The Ruger spring may be slightly larger on one end or just out of spec. Who knows? Anyway, my extended mag release worked great after flipping the spring. Nice upgrade!
Just the right height to make it easier to release the mag. The larger extended ones make it too easy to accidentally drop the mag.
This part is easy to install. It works great, and feels better than the stock mag release. What's not to like about pulling plastic parts out of the firearm, replacing it with better materials and making the overall package work better? Thanks for a great line of upgrade parts.
I ordered nearly all of the upgrade parts for Ruger pcc, but I apparently missed the mag release extension. I didn't notice until I started replacing parts. When I realized my mistake, I placed the order for the mag release. (I work swing shift, so I was doing all of this at night.) I placed the order around midnight, and had a shipping confirmation by 5:00 AM the next morning!! GREAT JOB!!
I got this, not only for better access and function, but because it matches the other M-CARBO upgrades I added: trigger and bolt release handle, all in red.
The original was to tough and tight, like my first girlfriend 😆The upgrade is much better thank you Mcarbro😎
Oversized button allows for faster mag changes. Highly recommend.
I’ve been slowly upgrading my PC carbine. All the parts so far are of excellent craftsmanship. I will keep getting parts from macarbo.
A definite improvement from the original stock piece. Easy to replace and functions as it should. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that’s looking to make an improvement to their carbine.
Originally didn't think I would need it. Saw my buddy with a TandenKross ext mag release. Didn't like that one and picked Mcarbo instead. Easy install to replace factory button. Factory button kept hanging on me. Replaced it with Mcarbo and never had any problems since. Big enough to do the job but not sticking out like a sore thumb like the Tandenkross one. Tandenkross sticks out too far and causes accidental mag release when you don't want to.
Fast courteous service and the product is top shelf! Now I can release the magazine with ease. I wish there were more vendors like this!

The only reason I cant give 5 stars is because the alan key slot on the bolt holding the button down doesnt match the hex slot on the stock button, so I had a bit of a time doing mix and match with my own alan keys. Other than that this is a replacment for the stock piece. Its extra grippy, dont need to depress the button into the body of the gun. Love it.
This accessory was super easy to install and works great! I like the textured surface for finding the button too!
