Installation is moderately easy! Watch the video before doing the installation. Results are pretty good. Parts seem to be of good quality.
Installation went very smooth - watch the video when installing the new springs, it was very helpful. The trigger is MUCH BETTER now than the original. I am very pleased with the spring quality and the speed it was shipped.
I finally got some time to install the MCARBO spring set and trigger. Before disassembling the Savage 64F rifle I averaged 10 pulls on my Lyman electronic trigger gauge. The average pull weight of the stock trigger assembly was 5 lbs, 4.2 oz. After installation of the springs and trigger and re-assembly of the rifle the average of 10 pulls came to 4 lbs, 0.1 oz. And the extreme spread between Hi and Lo pull weights was much narrower - In other words the pull was more consistent. Can't wait to get back to the range and shoot some groups. Thanks for a great product !

Has a great feel compared to the standard issue. I’d recommend purchasing the trigger spring kit at the same time has the trigger itself. The instructional video made by Chris at Mcarbo made the installation a breeze. Since installing both the trigger and trigger spring kit, the trigger pull feels great and requires less force to fire making my groupings tighter. A definite must have for the Savage 64F owner.
This spring kit is a great addition for the Savage 64, the trigger pull is noticeably lighter. Thanks for making products for the Savage 64 as not many companies do & thanks for the amazingly fast shipping to Canada.
The Savage 64F definitely needs these trigger springs. Replaced the STOCK parts with this kit. Now the performance is absolutely fantastic!
Fast shipping, install took maybe 20 minutes tops. Really happy with this mod. Measured the trigger with an analog fishing scale before at 4.5lbs and after it appears to be about 3lbs with the new springs. Can't wait to get to the range with it.
This review is after about 100 rounds fired. These springs brought the trigger pull of my Savage 64 to just about the perfect weight. Installation went smoothly and hard knocks in all directions did not cause an unintended dry fire. I combined these with a sanded-down brass washer next to the trigger itself to eliminate the lateral wiggle. Shipping was fast. Highly recommended.
Was definitely an upgrade to my rifle. MCarbo's videos on YouTube were a big help as well. Shipping was quick. Would recommend this and the trigger available from MCarbo.
Savage 64 spring kit does a great job reducing trigger pull
The Trigger Spring Kit was easy to install due to the great video provided. I don't think I would have been able to do the installation without the tips/tricks in the video. Now to take it to the range to test out the new trigger pull.

Purchased Savage 62F from Walmart for $99 + Tax, a bargain. Impressed ! Very accurate out of the box. I installed the Mcarbo Trigger and Trigger Spring Kit, easy to install and a nice improvement over the original factory trigger pull. Also, these veterans are a real pleasure to do business with.
