Parts went in as described in installation video. Cut trigger pull from 10lbs to 4.5 lbs. Changed gritty horrible trigger to a smooth crisp trigger.
M&P 2.0 40 cal (manual Safety): Completed the upgrade. The only difference from the video was, the takedown lever was still installed in the locking block for disassembly and reassembly. it smoothed out the trigger pull and the trigger pull weight dropped from 6lbs to 4.75lbs. Highly recommend.
Easy to install easy to polish. 25$ is a great investment and the trigger is much better.

Put the kit in last week after having the gun for a couple years, never quite got why people liked the M&P so much because that trigger sucked- I was considering replacement for that reason alone. With the kit installed, it's night and day. I'll be keeping the gun as a result.
I purchased this spring kit hoping to reduce the trigger pull in my 9C. All Massachusetts compliant handguns must have a trigger pull of at least 10lbs. I watched the installation video a couple of times (excellent video). Then spent a couple of hours one afternoon doing the installation. Kept the video handy just in case. Local gun shop measured the trigger pull, 5.5lbs. Overall, I am quite happy with the results. Best $25 investment you can make if you own a stock M&P 9C 1.0.
had an experirnced gunsmith do the work while I watched. Trigger pull 6# before, trigger pull 6# after. Really disappointed.
I'm not a gunsmith. Followed the video and installed this spring set. Now have a good smooooth trigger. Thanks guys I love it.
Received the parts promptly, I was able to easily install the parts with the youtube video that discussed the installation of this kit. This upgrade makes a huge difference in the trigger pull weight, reduced trigger pull to about 5 lbs pull. Having 2 Gen1 M&P pistols this is a must have upgrade.
I really should have given it 4 1/2 stars because the sear spring was wrong for my M&P 9c but other than that the kit was great. It reduced my trigger pull by about 2lbs and it’s much smoother than before. I will be buying more products from M.Carbo.
Some of the video instructions do not apply to the 2.0. 1. no take down lever spring in locking block like the 1.0 - so don't look for a missing spring. 2. sear block has a spring plunger and sear locator arm in the 2.0, not in the 1.0. Be careful when removing the sear pin, hold the sear down when removing your punch, or parts will fly. 3. the slave pin is too long , you will need to trim it down to fit, the slide lock arm will not slide over trigger asm with the Mcarbo slave pin in place. 4. take your time, polishing is the key to remove most of the grittiness. Springs will bring the trigger pull down, but getting any burrs or chatter off the friction parts is critical. Trigger pull prior to upgrade:5.5 - 6lbs, after 3 - 3.5 lbs. I spent a total of 6 hours, but had to find videos for the 2.0 sear block and frame reassembly. Also took time polishing, even more than Chris did. extra polishing: sear plunger head,bottom of sear where the plunger head contacts it. Polished the trigger safety plunger frame holes - both top and bottom of plunger travel areas. just basically anywhere there is friction between two parts. Be patient, this is a good upgrade.
Haven't installed it yet. Just bought the gun and need to shoot it more to get used to the old trigger before upgrading. The video is very informative and I'm sure the installation will go smoothly.
I got this on order before I even got my S&W M&P2.0 40. I heard the trigger needed work. A like taking my guns apart, some people do not but I like to. I now wish I had looked around a little, as Apex Triggers sell a kit with the same parts and a trigger and the striker release button is already polished up. Also new sear. And only $75 more. But will make do with this. It is all my fault . M*CARBO is a great co. have bought from them before and will again. Same parts from Apex cost about the same but again my bad. Thanks
Ordered, received, installed and tested S&W M&P 9 spring kit... All within 12 days !!Trigger pull went from 7.3 down to 3.4 lbs.. Polishing made a big difference as well. The video provided by Nelson was over the top.. great information/instructions presented in an understandable way us humans can relate to. Other than my old 74 year old shaky hands the project went great !! Keep up the "kick ass" work Chris !! Thank your staff as well....
