Bought this kit & replaced the springs. Video was easy to follow. Trigger pull was at 6.75 lbs. originally. After replacement it dropped to 6.00 lbs. I was hoping for 5.00 or less. Called M*Carbo & they sent replacement hammer spring free of charge & asked me to shoot 250 rounds through it. Replaced hammer spring & shot 130 rounds through it. Trigger pull is now less than 5.00 lbs. Very pleased. Shipping was fast & customer service was great.
These kits are great. Just finished the LC9 kit and the results are fantastic. I have already done 3 pistol kits that dramaticly improved there performance. The first class videos make it easy to do the job right. This is a class company with class personal and products. From everything they do , web site, shipping, info, followup etc. they are first class.It is a no brainer to use there springs only kits-like Remington 1100-870 trigger kit and AR 15 trigger springs.
The MCARBO LC9 Trigger Kit has completely changed and IMPROVED the tactical performance and overall feel of my Ruger! Ruger should consider having this kit put in at the factory... it's that damn good! Trigger pull is lighter, hammer tighter and trigger reset issue SOLVED! Although the trigger weight didn’t change much, it was a very smooth and even pull unlike the factory trigger. Assembly was a little annoying if you’ve never fully disassembled the LC9, but the instructions where quite clear which was helpful.
I also ordered this for my LC9 during our current Pandemic and M*CARBO shipped my product fast. I looked at the competitor’s product which changes the trigger assembly but found this more cost effective and met my need. The YouTube video was very well presented and extremely helpful. Although the hammer spring was a challenge to get out, once reassembled there was a noticeable improvement. Made it to the range and after 150 rounds, she runs great. Very pleased with the overall experience.
I did receive my Ruger LC9 spring kit a day earlier than estimated so that was nice. Installation was simple following along with the video. Chris explains it so easily. Props on that. Noticeable tension relief in the trigger. I don't have a gauge so I can't be specific on weight but judging by feel I can tell the trigger is lighter . Looking forward to testing it this week. Finally took some time to replace the springs in my Ruger LC9 after purchasing this kit 2 weeks ago. With the help of the video everything went relatively easy, even dealing with tiny little parts with very fat fingers. Before the spring kit installation the trigger was so hard to pull I could watch the muzzle pull to the left (lefthanded shooter) when practicing with my laser training system. Now it is a very easy light pull all the way through the trigger cycle and my muzzle stays in place, markedly improving my accuracy.
Before putting the trigger spring kit in my wife's LC9, she had given up on it. It was uncomfortable, the trigger was way too stiff, holding on a target while pulling the trigger with a pressure you could measure with a vegetable scale was ridiculous. AFTER: Like a new gun. She was all smiles, huge reaction, she loved it. She has no complaints about it now. What a difference. The video made it easy to put the kit in myself. Thanks!!
Installed the upgrade by following video. Was fun. Especially when wife saw me doing it. In any case, the gun Is a lot more fun to shoot. Much easier to handle. Nice spread at the range.
Nice easy to install kit. Improves the trigger on the LC9
This kit improved the trigger feel, pull and break. It eliminated the “wall” halfway thorough the factory pull and decreased the pull weight and made the break predictable. Thanks!
Fairly easy to install, works very well for $20. Really lightened and smoothed out trigger , this is a must for the LC9.
Took about the same amount of time to change the springs out as to watch the video. Had to pause a few times, but other than that, very easy install. Trigger is fantastic now, the difference is huge.
They’re quality made and reduced the pull fairly significantly. The YouTube video instructions were also very thorough. Would recommend
I really didn't like this gun before but this made a big difference.
