Really happy with this trigger spring kit. My new cz p07 had a pretty smooth trigger but ridiculously heavy pull. This was exactly what I needed, this kit reduced my trigger pull down to a perfect weight. Mcarbo also put a great video on YouTube for the installation step by step. Thank you mcarbo
The Springs make a huge difference and I love it. I only wish it came with a stronger reset Spring and more sand paper for the amount of burs they want you to remove.
I"m a relatively good shot. Not a novice shooter by far but struggled with both trigger and sights out of the box. I was blown away by the jump in capability after I installed the kit along with polishing by hand. For $20 we'll worth your time for your carry gun. Why don't people take every advantage they can when it comes to a tool your will to bet your life with. Awesome investment.
This is a very inexpensive way to smooth out and reduce the trigger pull. I installed it in my P-07. I could immediately tell the difference while shooting the gun. The video was great and helped throughout the entire install. Great product at a superb price. I will definitely be back.
The video is a must unless you have a photographic memory and excellent skills in figuring things out. A must is a LED headlamp, regular size needle nose pliers, patience, a little more patience and playing REM Losing my Religion while putting your pistol back together. It can be done. Trigger pull is lessened and after polishing parts, smoother. Not like a Colt Revolver of yesteryear but definitely smoother than out of the box.
I did the trigger myself on my first pistol and works as good as the 350 dollar job no the one I just bought used. Just follow the video and take your time its very worth it
I've used a couple of these kits to upgrade my CZ P-07 and P-10DF pistols. Got everything done using the install video and am loving the improved trigger pull.
I put the M Carbo spring trigger kit recently on my lower and was floored by the improvement to my trigger pull. I had the complete trigger kit so I still had the slide springs to finish but thought it was as good as it could get with the lower kit and polishing. I had the upper out getting cut for the Holosun and it just got back so I decided to add the M Carbo slide springs and retention pin. Used the best youtube video I've ever seen on how to do a mod for a gun, so it was easy. Just finished it and I was wrong again. I made the CZ better. That trigger pull I'd put against my Shadow 2 it's so nice. Thanks M Carbo. I'm going out to shoot it.
I would have given the five stars this kit deserves, but the installation was difficult for me. It took me a whole entire day to install the CZ P09 ambi decocking lever back into place. It was because I did not put the hammer in half cock and this caused the decocker pin to be mis-aligned. It would not turn down under the spring tension and simply pop in place. The M-Carbo YouTube video did not detail this part which would have been helpful. I made quite certain everything in the P09 was installed correctly to prevent malfunction. The trigger spring kit does everything it claims to do. It takes the SA/DA trigger to a 50% reduction at least. I cycled 40 rounds through and it was flawless and smooth. I am definitely happy to say the least. I could rip my P09 down again and polish some other parts, but I'll save that for another day. I might not need to anyway. The gun is a "Smooth Operator" now!!! Thanks Much M-Carbo P.S. You will turn me into a Gunsmith.
This kit is for the p07 trigger, but I installed it on my p01 omega, which is the same trigger system, immediately lightened the the double trigger pull, very happy
Fast shipping and the instruction video was helpful and absolutely necessary. Noticeable improvement in the kit though perhaps not as much as I had hoped for. In defense of the kit though I did not have the necessary equipment to polish the surfaces as thoroughly as was presented in the instruction video. I would recommend this kit.
CZ pistols have great triggers, AFTER they are broken in with a couple of thousand rounds. Given the limited availability of reasonably priced ammo, I decided to do the break in of my new P07 using the trigger kit and polishing kit. The results are fantastic, with the trigger much smoother and lighter. I will now fire a few hundred rounds to begin to build confidence in the reliability of pistol. Watch the video (a little over an hour) to see if you want to do this, but I consider myself to have medium mechanical aptitude and had no problem with any step. Get the polishing kit. I also ordered extra sandpaper, but it was not needed. Finally, I ordered the gunsmithing block, which worked fine but was probably not necessary. BTW, as a former educator, the video gets an A+ for clarity, organization and completeness. Really good job! I just ordered another trigger kit for my P09.
The parts arrived very quick. After watching the video to disassemble, polish and reassemble, I’m very confident that I can do this. The quality of the video and attention to detail was some of the best I’ve seen. M carbo will be my first choice from now on. Thank you for your service.
I bought the kit for my P07, just to see how good it is compared the the Cajun Gunworks Competition Trigger kit. I have to say the Mcarbo kit is equal to the CGW trigger kit in smoothing out and lightening the DA and SA pull. To be honest the CGW kit does have a shorter reset, but for the money the Mcarbo kit is a lot better in my opinion. For $30.00 I get the main benefit of a smoother and lighter trigger pull compared to the $230.00 CGW kit. If I get another P09 or P07 I am definitely going the buy the Mcarbo kit over the CGW kit. I'm not one of those "shortest reset needed" shooter so the Mcarbo kit is a definite must buy for me.
The install was straight forward, teardown sanding and polishing, and installation. I did have problems with the heavy duty roll pin on the slide going back in, i emailed m*carbo at almost 10pm and literally by 8:15 i had a reply and tracking numbers for my new roll pin. They even said theyd squeeze it for me to help make sure it went in. And sure enough, it got the job done. Expected delivery was Tuesday, but i received it Saturday in the mail! I can not say it enough: these guys have the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE - HANDS DOWN- Don't hesitate, this will make your cz pull and break phenomenally.
MCARBO has a great step by step video to replace these parts yourself. I won’t say it’s easy, but they make it as easy as possible. I do have two pieces of advice for doing this project that the video either does wrong (in my opinion) or doesn’t mention and it has to do with re-assembly. More specifically, re-assembly of the decocker.: 1) Keep the trigger bar spring disconnected until the very end. It will keep tension off the trigger bar and allow it to stay down and out of the way. 2) Half-cock the hammer. It will slightly relieve tension on the seer and allow the two halves of the decocker to line up easier. Definitely a must have product. BUY IT!!!
