I installed this kit last week on a brand new CZ P-09 along with a short reset kit… and after carefully sanding all the internals following the MC Carbo video I went one step ahead and spent some time polishing even further with a polisher machine and 3M rubbing compound, until a complete “mirror finish” was obtained in all the required internals… even the sear …

all I have to say is “WOW” ….

I’m so impressed with the result that I’m ordering a CZ P-07 to do exactly the same work…

to give you a better idea of the result, yesterday I went shooting for the first time with it and invited some friends who are visiting from Spain so they are first timers and I brought my Walther PDP 5 inches (excellent trigger from factory) my X Five Legión (great trigger from factory) and my CZ P-09 because I wanted to hear their non biased opinions about them all, and even with the CZ having the longer trigger travel of them all without hesitation they still preferred the CZ trigger pull in single action….

Great Job MC Carbo!!! AAA+++ so say the least…

Just made my CZ P07 better

3# single action that is very predictable. Makes it super accurate. Double action is now very, very acceptable. Love the gun now! I did do a good bit of polishing which is I am sure smooths it out. Install video is spot on. Absolutely could not have self installed otherwise.

Loved the kit notice the difference in trigger pull and my accuracy. Loved your video was so step by step that I felt comfortable doing this myself.

Lessens the trigger pull.

I can really tell the difference with the trigger pull.

3 most difficult things during installation.

1. Very hard to insert the firing retention pin. Thank goodness it's really tough and doesn't bend on strong hammering.

2. Hard to insert the trigger return spring into the hole and the slot.

3. Reinstalling the trigger bar tension is hard. Return it before working on the hammer and seer box

While I stand by my original assessment of this kit -- that it's superb, well worth the price, and a relatively easy install -- at my last plinking session, I experienced a couple unintended double taps, caused the greatly-reduced single action trigger pull plus undisciplined shooting technique.

Curiously, I hadn't encountered this issue previously, and all other circumstances being similar, I am chalking it up to operator error in combination with the light SA trigger pull.

When I focused on form there was no issue, but I think it likely this situation could be encountered in a real-world, stressful shooting situation.

I do find the DA pull superb, and for me, the key takeaway is to *always* use DA for the first round; that way, the light SA pull isn't a factor, and subsequent follow up shot(s) are practiced/intended.

YMMV, and as always, practice with your EDC, using the same ammo you carry (expensive, but worth it!).

This is the first CZ I have owned. After reading so much positive feedback on them I decided to break down and purchase one. I really liked how the gun felt and shot, but the trigger action left a little to be desired, especially as my EDC is a Dan Wesson.

Long story short, after seeing the youtube video on the trigger upgrade I had to give it a try and man am I ever glad I did. I followed the video and did the polishing and install of new parts. This got rid of the softness before hitting the wall on the trigger pull. Now it is super smooth to the wall, and then a nice clean break. DA is also a lot smoother and a bit lighter as well. This gun will now go into EDC rotation. If you have a CZ P07 this is worth doing. I don't care how much you like your gun, if it is stock, you are going to like it even more after the simple upgrade. This was the first time I had taken a gun apart like this and I was nervous. Take your time and work in a clean area where you can find a small part if you drop it and it is easier than you think.

M Carbo never disappoints!!

Great spring kit!! Significantly smooths the trigger pull especially in double action. I was lucky and got a P-07 that was machined much better than the install video. I had really no rough spots or machine marks on any of my parts. The install video was easy to follow but did leave out a couple of tips that would make it even easier to install the spring kit. Pull the hammer back when re-installing the de-cocker and disengage the trigger bar spring. This will make lining up and installing the de-cocker so much easier. Great price, great product, and great instructions!!

I love CZ's Have several and one of my favorites is my P07. The trigger was ok but decided to order the trigger spring kit from M Carbo. I am shocked at the difference. It included springs along with a bit of 1000 grit sand paper to be used for some of the milling marks, fritz polish and some polishing brushes. I followed the easy to follow instruction from YouTube and I'm so happy I got this upgrade from M Carbo. Sanded down a few of the spots that cause that CZ trigger grind and polished. I think these and the springs are outstanding and made all the difference. My double action and single action was reduced in half. My double action is a double action, I didn't expect much but you will notice the difference. But the single action was a jay dropper. It cut in half or more the pull. I checked with my gauge and it showed 2.49/2.50/2.49. Wow. This thing is great.

Thanks to the guys at M Carbo for their service and for the outstanding product they made.

First order of business, I am a CZ guy. P01, SP01, Shadow 2, and P07. While the entire CZ line is known for having outstanding triggers, the P07 definitely lags behind the others. It is a solid pistol, very well built, accurate, and reliable. It's just that the trigger sucks.

Based on some internet opinions, I decided to give the M-Carbo spring kit a try. Installation was extremely easy thanks to the video posted by the folks at M-Carbo. The video is very thorough and detailed through the entire process tear down to reassembly.

While the springs certainly make a difference, there is a decent amount of polishing involved. This is where the P07 starts to come alive. As a mass produced pistol, there are plenty of tool marks and burrs on the internals that need to be addressed. Grab a Dremel and some Flitz and get polishing. Follow the video.

On the range, the P07 felt like a brand new pistol. While the trigger is not quite on the level of the Shadow 2, it is certainly up there with a stock SP01. Double action is now right around 7 lbs, while the single action breaks just under 3 lbs. Initially ran 200+ rounds through without a single issue, other than the big smile on my face.

I love shooting my P07. Thank you M-Carbo!

My first install of this kit ( have done three M&Ps ). Much the same as the other kits, patience and preparation is key. If you end up with a SA trigger reset problem after upgrade, check to see if the ejector spring is still set in the frame. I had trouble with the trigger bar spring falling out of the frame and turned the frame upside down a few times to have it fall out so I could grab it. One of those times the ejector spring fell out. I found it on my shop floor. Hint I use a light blue painted concrete floor in my shop for that reason. DA pull after 6 7/8 lbs, SA pull at 2lbs. Will test for light strikes next week.

Most bang for your buck!

This by far is the best accessory I could ever get for this pistol. The disassembly and installation video was a tremendous help. The reduction in trigger pull weight itself made this pistol a lot more enjoyable to shoot.

Anyone without an ASVAB waiver could install this themselves with the help of the video. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a P07.

Mostly good

I am happy with the kit overall. It did noticeably reduce the trigger pull weight, and was easy to install with the excellent video instructions. The reason it lost a star is that the trigger return spring was a little bit too light, and failed to reset the trigger to double action during dry fire testing. Would it reset it in single action? Probably the reset for single action is far shorter than for double action, and it was just shy of reaching the reset point. I cannot say for sure though, because I replaced the factory trigger return spring before going to the range to test the new springs. I am somewhat disappointed, because one of the reasons I decided to replace springs was the reports of the factory trigger return spring breaking, rendering the pistol useless.

One thing that I was concerned about is that, when I was looking at the three options for springs, I noticed that Cajun Gun Works has heavier sear springs available and strongly recommended for use with some of their custom hammers. The reason for the strong recommendation (which reads something like "you MUST use these sear springs with these hammers,") is that the factory spring with those hammers can cause hammer follow, which is the seat failing to catch the hammer when a shot is fired, causing it to follow the slide all the way forward. My concern was that a lighter sear spring with the stock hammer might present the same problem, but I am happy to report that, in my testing at least, this was not an issue.

Finally, a note on the firing pin retaining pin. One other reviewer noted the tightness of the retaining pin, and having deformed it while trying to drive it in. I too, noticed that the firing pin block retaining pin seemed to stop part of the way through and begin to mushroom. I filed off the edges that had spread, drove the pin out, and started over. The second try worked much better. I suspect that during the first attempt I had the firing pin either rotated slightly, or not aligned correctly. If you have the same problem, before driving yourself to frustration and damaging the pin, try removing it and starting over.

Been carrying my P09 for about 2 years got about 2500 rounds on it. Installed the kit today took about 1 hour and change. The change was chasing down the spring under the ejector. Other than that piece of cake. The results is most definitely worth price and effort. Don't have a trigger gauge but I can feel the difference. Much , much better. Got the kit Friday June 19th did it today along with battery change for my RMR. Done and done.

My P-07 has become my favorite because of this.

I just installed the spring kit a couple of days ago and man what a difference. There were right, cut the trigger weight in half for both DA and SA. Woot!

The YouTube installation video was absolutely necessary in guiding me through the process, however if i may, I'd suggest slowing down a bit and getting some additional angles when describing parts and placement.

Other than that little nugget, I'm very pleased. I've also ordered a kit for my SP-01 that intend to install this week.

Thanks Brothers!

Installed the CZ P07/09 spring kit. It works fantastic in single action, very smooth, not quite as smooth in double action but still great.
