First, I am NOT a gunsmith. I had never taken a CZ Omega apart, but the MCarbo video demonstrates everything, step by step, so even I could make the swap of the springs and roll pon/polish the parts, and turn my CZ into a competition worthy pistol. Thanks MCarbo - this is the third kit I have installed and all have made an incredible difference!
Amazing! Very well designed replacement parts and the YouTube video just incredible. Excellent provided information on polishing and installing spring kit. Thank you
Installed the kit on my CZ P09. Amazing!! Both DA and SA trigger pulls are lighter and smoother. Shoots much better, even though it shot pretty well prior to installing the kit. I also have a P07 and will probably install on it as well, but it's nice to be able to see the before and after simultaneously as both pistols started off with the same trigger pull for both DA and SA... I much better shooter at my club tried the pistol and was amazed, LOVED it and wants to get a P09 and install the kit. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MCARBO!!!!
I did the Cajun on my CZ P01 and the P07 is wayyyyy much easier to work on. I noticed significant improvement over the stock trigger pulls with this $30 trigger spring kit. The trigger pull is as good as his video advertised. At first, I was going to Cajun my P07 then my friend told me about Mcarbo. I'm a veteran myself so it's a no brainier that I want to support another veteran owned business. Overall, I would say it's definitely worth $30. One little caviar is that I wish there is a way to adjust the pre-travel on the trigger...but can't have everything for $30 eh.
Better than cgw because you get more. Not as smooth as I had hoped for but that’s my fault for being a little hesitant to really polish it down. Cut the trigger pull weight nearly in half. Great customer service and fast shipping even during the virus.
Some time ago I bought a used CZ P-07 that had been sent to Cajun Gun Works (CGW) to have their “Pro Package” installed. I absolutely love that gun, and have a great deal of respect for CGW, their products, and their work. So much that I ended up sending two more of my CZs to have them install their Pro Package installed, and they came back awesome. I liked my P-07 so much, I thought it needed a big brother - so I bought a P-09! The trigger out of the box on my P-09 was not that bad, but certainly not as nice as my P-07. I didn’t want to spend hundreds on another CJW job, but I wanted a better trigger. I was rather skeptical of the M*CARBO kit - which is a fraction of the cost of the CGW Pro Package. But for the price, I was willing to take a chance. I enjoy working on guns, but had never done anything with my CZs other than basic cleaning. They seem a good bit more complicated than a Glock or something. So after getting the kit, I watched the “How To” video all the way through, then headed to my workbench with my iPad to have the video for a reference. I took my time, and with the excellent video as my guide, I dug in. I won’t say it was easy, but if you take your time and keep referencing the video - it’s really not that difficult. Now for the results! I have a trigger pull gauge and measured the pull on my P-09 before I started. Double Action (DA) came in at 9 lbs, 1 oz. Single Action (SA) was 3 lbs, 13 oz. The trigger was fairly smooth. When I disassembled the gun, I didn’t find a lot of roughness anywhere but there were a couple of areas that needed some sanding. I also polished everything with the M*CARBO polishing kit. After reassembling the gun, I again measured the trigger pull. DA is now 6 lbs, 5 oz. SA is now 2 lbs, 3 oz. The trigger is a bit smoother in both DA and SA. By comparison, my P-07 with the CGW package measures 7 lbs even DA, and 2 lbs 11 oz SA. The reset on my P-07 is shorter, because CGW includes parts designed to shorten the reset. The trigger on my P-07 may be slightly smoother, but only slightly. Bottom line (after all my rambling): The M*CARBO kit is a tremendous value that will give you a noticeably improved trigger.
Shipping was fast, product received earlier than expected. The kit system really improve my P07 trigger pull
Before installing it looks like a headache!! Watching the video it's super easy!! After installing the trigger is AMAZING.. clean crisp break less take up! Couldnt have spent my money anything better!
I followed the video and easy install. I used green jewelers rouge instead of Flitz for the polishing. It works great and doesn't make a mess like the Flitz. My double action pull is 8 pounds and single action is 2.5 pounds. Still has quite a bit of creep but it's smooth creep. I carry my pistol cocked and locked so the double action doesn't really apply to me.
My package was somehow sent back to MCarbo by the USPS. Notifies them about the return and MCarbo rush me another one . CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING. SEMPER FI
I try to do things like this myself so I learn more about my pistol. Mcarbo has detailed videos, and pdf's that help you along the way. I have 1000's of rounds through this p07, and there is a definite difference in the single action trigger. Much improved. Thanks so much.
Great kit . Works just as advertised. Reduces DA/SA. Easy to install with a good and detailed instruction video . Would definitely recommend this kit .
This was the first trigger job I’ve done on a pistol myself and this kit was fantastic. The video of the install made it easy. This kit is amazing and the pull is no lie. All the videos online of this kit don’t do it justice. Amazing kit, quality stuff, and totally transforms the gun. Nice work MCarbo! I’ll be buying more of your stuff
Honestly for the price, you cant beat it...especially since theres a super detailed video to follow along to install the product! I have to say installing this kit and adding the polish kit with it is like night and day, super buttery smooth, and very happy with this product! Before install: DA 10lb 7oz SA 3lb 9oz After install: DA 6lb 3oz SA 2lb 8oz
I have been looking for a great company that made a lighter spring kit for my CZ p07. I finally found one that makes great quality springs. The kit comes with everything you will need if you already have tools needed to work on firearms. If you don't know what you are doing, you can follow the how-to video on YouTube and follow step by step. The springs (without polishing) reduced my trigger pull a bunch. I would recommend the polishing kit as well to get the best results.
