This spring kit is the best, the trigger pull on CZ 75B is way lighter than it was before.
This product is as advertised.. I’ve installed this kit in 2 cz75b’s. A full size and a compact. I watched the installation video as I installed the parts. The first install was challenging, but the second went very easily. DA trigger pull on the full size is about 8 pounds. SA pull is 3 1/2 . I also polished all the internals. SA pull on the compact is about 4 1/2 pounds. Also polished. Not as light as I had anticipated, but the compact is a carry gun and I’m very happy with the pull weights. All and all very satisfied with the kits.
Installed trigger spring and sear spring in IWI Jericho Enhanced. Fast shipping, reasonable price, smoothed out double action pull and reduced trigger pull weight by 2lbs both double/single action.
Great spring kit . Videos helped a great deal .
Ease of use DIY youtube video was great. Love the reduction to the trigger on my CZ 75 PCR
The springs make all the difference in the weapon. It lightens the pull just enough to be safe and fun to play with at the range .
The trigger spring kit plus the trigger floating pin is a great DIY kit . Follow along with the installation video shows you everything you need to do. The sear spring is a little tricky but the video will help you accomplish your goal and make your trigger pull smooth as butter. Love it.
The spring kit dropped right in. The shipping and communication was a+++. As described knocked pounds off my pull. Highly recommend.
Followed video instructions and was unable to install firing pin retaining pin with tools from instruction video. Could get it started and past the firing pin using 3/32 tool to align the firing pin. Once past the firing pin to the other side it would only go a little further in to the retaining pin hole on the other side. Reassembled the slide with the stock parts. Hoping the seller sends me a firing pin retaining pin that is the right size.
The bad. Paid for 2 day shipping, took 4 days to arrive. If not for that it would be 5 stars. As far as the kit goes, was easy to install. Couldn't find instructions on omega trigger but found some basics online. DA the trigger is smooth and a couple pounds less. SA it is a dream... very light pull, the reset feels shorter also. Will put the same in my po1 also.
The first time I've attempted anything like this, but the detailed video made it easy. I only said bad words at one point trying to install the trigger return spring. I was struggling with the assembly tool and finally lost it under my bench. I ended up making one by cutting an old 1/16th allen key to size and that made it much easier. The DA / SA pulls are really smooth and plan to give it a go this weekend.
Installed the trigger kit this morning before I got busy. Functions well however I haven't put any rounds through that'll be for tomorrow. Installation information, firing pin Springs r straight forward easy installation. trigger return spring is the most difficult but not impossible to handle. Probably like many other people, I lost the little guide pin tool. No worries because I found a much simpler method. Insert the short leg of the trigger spring into the trigger pocket and pressed the spring into place with a pencil. The Eraser will give you the required grip to hold it steady while you tap the pin back into place through the coils of the spring. Very easy. The seer spring is easy, just take your time with safety pin alignment. Very straightforward. Total installation of all Springs took around 15 minutes. Seems much lighter can't wait to put some rounds through it
I installed this kit on my CZ 75B. It completely transformed it into a awesome pistol! Before the trigger was just horrible. It was heavy and gritty. It was so bad I really didn't like shooting it. It just sat in the safe. There are places you can send your CZ in to get a trigger job done, but that is going to be big bucks. I figured I would give MCARBO a try. It was only around $25 shipped. What's the worst that could happen? The trigger on this pistol is like a dream now! Double action is way lighter and smoother. Almost like a nice S&W revolver. The single action is almost perfect. Light and it breaks clean! Do yourself and your CZ a favor and get this kit. You will be amazed at the improvement it makes.
One of the guys at my LGS asked me how to improve his CZ 75B. He decided on new sights and spring kit, so I mentioned the MCARBO kit and offered to put it in for him. Having done my CZ P0-7s, the 75B with an Omega trigger was very familiar. The kit, along with some generous polishing, brought the DA down by 2.75 lb and the SA down by 1.5 lb. He now has around a 2 lb smooth trigger and couldn't be happier. Another good product, folks.
First, let me say that these parts were installed into a Tristar (Canik) CZ75 clone. I want to warn clone owners to check your pin holes before attempting to use the pin that comes in this kit. The enhanced firing pin retaining pin did not fit in my gun-- WAY to large- the roll pin got quite flared just halfway through, and it certainly was difficult to take out at that point. The next challenge was the trigger return spring- the little plastic slave pin provided broke during installation-- on my gun the long leg of the spring sits inside a hole, not a groove, very difficult to line up the holes and keep the spring in place under tension. Tip: remove the sear pack for installing the trigger return spring, and buy a self retaining trigger pin that is smaller than the original roll pin in the clone-- use that to replace the original pin and this step will be 10x easier. Finally, the sear pack spring-- the McCarbo one has a shorter short leg than the original-- it kept popping under the ledge...tried several times, and finally it popped into space, lost forever = gone. I ended up putting the original back in. So, in conclusion, very difficult install at all 3 stages, despite how it looks in youtube. YMMV. Good Luck!
This is my third CZ trigger spring installation. With the excellent installation videos, it's almost easy. The Omega install for my P-01 (see instruction video for the P-07 Omega) is easier and faster than for the 75b and 97b. But both are not complicated, just a bit fussy at times. Make sure to have good punches and having alignment pens are a plus. On each CZ, the reduction (along with polishing trigger connector, sear, and hammer) have resulted in a 32-37% reduction in the DA, and a 35-42% reduction in SA. More than worth the money and highly recommended.
