Liked the outcome and how easy the trigger works! It helped with muzzle flip, and pulling off target by finger pull! The video needs to be updated a bit! There is a washer on the left side of gun where the roll pin holds sear assembly together! That washer should be noted as some CZ 75d PCR don’t have that washer! The video showed the pin coming out the left side for decocker models, but that washer needs to be removed before pin removal! I was able to figure out what was happening, but someone not knowing about the washer may try to drive pin out and damage the gun! If your having issues call MCarbo and they have answers! Do look at videos on your weapon and decide if you can do the job!
This kit was is amazing and priced right, once the pistol was back together it did away with the DA/SA issues that are so common. I was glad to have the replacement roll pin for the slide. I had just over 200 rounds on the OEM pin and could see an appreciable indentation on the OEM pin. The instructional videos are great also !
Having never done any "gun smithing" before, I watch a dozen YouTube videos prior to purchasing the M-Carbo CZ 75 Decocker Trigger Spring Kit. Your videos are very well done and give a sense of the frustration all will encounter to get the job done! I felt this, and the sense of accomplishment when I completed the job! Trigger pull is markedly reduced, smoother and with a bit less "take up" I think my CZ 75BD is a better pistol now, than ever! Thanks M-Carbo!
Very nice kit. Installation was definitely on the experienced level. 3 pound pull single action, just under 6 pounds double. The video shows a nice slave pin and a plastic wedge being used. Not included in the kit I received. I made two pins myself to do the job. Also there are definitely some differences between the 75 and the Rami for decocker removel and removing the sear housing. I wasn’t able to find any help online. Definitely not beginner level stuff. Good eyes and steady hands are a must.
Shipping was a breeze. Video on how to install very explanatory. New install make a difference. Groupings where tight before, but now it's much better.
I purchased the Trigger Spring Kit for my CZ 75 BD a few weeks ago and finally got around to installing it yesterday. Boy, what a difference. I measured the trigger pull weights both before and after the installation. DA 10 lbs 6.5 oz. and SA 5 lbs 5.5 oz. after DA 8 lbs 14 oz., SA 3 lbs 2.9 oz. I thought I had a smooth trigger before but there is a definite improvement. I really appreciated the installation pins that were part of the kit. I will be purchasing more kits for my other guns. Thanks
I installed this kit on my CZ75B Compact and it reduced the factory DA/SA pull weight from 10.5/5.5 to 8.5/3.5 lbs. Not bad for a $20 investment.
I recently purchased kits for my 97B and my P-01. These will be the 8th and 9th kits purchased and installed into my various CZ models. I keep coming back due to the price, quality etc of these spring kits. If you have not yet bought one of these for your CZ, the time is now. You will not be disappointed.
Return spring too light it caused the trigger to not reset when let go slowly. Rest of the kit is good.
I recently purchased a trigger kit for mt CZ rami. I plan on using this as my edc but the trigger was a little heavy from the factory. My son recommended mcarbo but he had never purchased anything from them and was using me as a guinea pig. I took the kit to a professional armorer and had it installed. He tweaked it a little and polished everything and I couldn’t be happier. The pistol trigger pull is now much better. The service was great and fast and made in the USA.
Before: DA: 12lbs SA: 3.5lbs After: DA: 7lbs SA: 2.5lbs
I just purchased my handgun and the kit for my CZ 75D Compact PCR in February. Everything went well except for the sear spring. I cannot get the pin that holds the sear cage in place to move. I watched the video several times but my CZ is slightly different that what is in the video. I do not have the right side de-cocker lever and the cross pin that holds the springs and sear cage appears different and will not budge. I tried pushing out with my fingers and tapping it with a hammer and punch. but no go I do not want to start smashing it with the hammer and it's not worth the extra $100+ to send it in to Mcarbo to have them do it. So I am not changing the sear spring. This is not the fault of the kit but the video is not correct for my particular handgun for some reason.
This was the first range visit with the 2nd MCARBO kit installed. This time it was installed in my polished stainless CZ75b. Ran 100rds of S&B and 100 of Blazer Brass, all 115gr. Everything fired without a problem. Great trigger pull improvement, just like my other CZ75b.
The kit was perfect. Obviously dealing with the decocker seer was a pain... but totally doable. Be patient, watch some youtube videos, watch Mcarbos videos, call and ask questions if you need to. Mcarbo was super helpful. You can do it if you want to. The kit makes the double action straight pull through (vs stagging) the trigger so so much more doable for an novice/intermediate shooter like me. Really pleased with the whole experience and smithing on the CZ was really enjoyable. I would suggest buying the punch kit and the bench block.
I've purchase several items for my CZ collection and has been very happy with the service and support.
Installation went well on my p-01 Omega. Once learned that one needs to follow the P07 video. But the install did cut my single and double in half. To 1.5 single an 3.5 double. Just wish the take up was less
