I have a CZ SP01 and it was pulling a 9.5lb on the scales so I decided to get this kit for my gun. I was able to drop it down to 4lbs trigger pull. It only took me 4 days to get my kit in the mail. Awesome kit and there is a video for those who are not good with gun smithing. I recommend it because you will feel and notice the difference. It has improved the guns accuracy even more. Keep it up mcarbo, you guys are doing an excellent job.

Well worth the time and money

Using on my CZ 75 SP-01, this kit bought down double action pull to 7# and single action pull to a hair over 3#. Only hard part of installation was trigger spring. Must be installed in the uncocked position. Once trigger pin is removed Do not pull (fire) while manipulating the gun or you will have to remove sear cage.

What an improvement!

With the guidance of the excellent video, I successfully replaced almost every spring on my SP-01, even the recoil spring and stainless guide rod. I REALLY got to know my CZ from the inside out and gained new insight on its inspired design and found new confidence in my limited gunsmithing skills. What an improvement- 2 1/2 lb pull. Now, about that excessive takeup and reset ...

What an improvement!!

Bought the full kit with the floating trigger pin for my CZ SP01 Tactical with DeCocker. Following the video instructions step-by-step, the entire process took about two hours with no mishaps or dropped/lost springs. I do have a full set of roll pin punches as well as specialty punches and gunsmith, spring locating tools and micro tips which helped greatly - especially when manipulating the DeCocker spring. I also removed the extractor from the slide and gave both the slide and frame a thorough cleaning in the same time span. One thing that helped greatly is that I clamped the frame in my rotating and tilting vise. That made it less clumsy.

Results are amazing!! Average SA trigger pull with five reading is 1.98lbs, and DA is now 5.97lbs. Have not taken it to the range yet but conducted a thorough function test, and everything appears to be in order. It does require at least some mechanical aptitude; the ability to memorize processes from videos as stopping and pausing to rewind and review is cumbersome; good manual dexterity; and at least the basic tools shown in the video: but it is not impossible. For tinkerers and DIY gunsmiths like me, it's a fun project with amazing results!!

Why only 4 stars

I would bet my life that this deserves a 5 star review because everything I have purchased from them in the past worked 100% and installation was a dream. I gave this a 4 star because I purchased it on a gamble that it would work with my CZ clone and it did not. The SAR B6 looks like a CZ but when working with this kit I found out that outward appearances were the only thing that is similar. This is not Mcarbo's fault and I am sure this would be a perfect addition to any CZ owner.

Do beware of the clones.

Works 99% of the time on a Kadet

I already wrote a review for this kit and how it improved my CZ75B Compact and it was a decent 2lbs+ reduction to my double action and 1lb off of my single action.

I just tried this out with the Kadet 2 22LR conversion on my CZ75B Compact and it works for the most part. In 2 boxes of CCI Mini Mags, I got 2 failure to fires. All it took was a second strike and they both fired. This is a big jump from the reliability of the stock main spring (19lbs) through. With the original main spring I would only see a failure to fire once every 1000 rounds or so. Very rare.

Am I sad about the lowered reliability with 22lr? A little but then again it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the Kadet 2 kit and I can avoid swapping out springs when I want to use the Kadet 2 kit.

Works as good or better than described.

The direction are very detailed in the video and everything looks very easy to do. In most cases that is what you will experience until you get to the trigger return spring. The "Tool" pin as supplied was very undersized and difficult to get into position. So I used a round toothpick and it worked perfectly. The rest was a cake walk.

I LOVE THIS GUN! I have small hands so positioning my finger is a bit of a challenge, but with the reduced pull weight, the control is excellent. The original double action was horrible.. Now I can hold on target without worries.

An excellent improvement for those of us who are "manually challenged" LOL.

Works as intended, follow video instructions

Video describes procedure perfectly. Everything included fits pistol as intended. I would suggest purchasing pin punches with guide ball tips on end to locate tension pins more accurately especially if this is your first rodeo.

Works great

It was a lot lighter from the get go. I had my lgs install it. Altogether it was under $100.00 with the trigger parts and install. I took it to the range and ran about 150 rds through it. By the end it was a little more snappy than it was just after install which was great. It still doesn’t have that nice crisp wall of a striker fired trigger but it’s super light and very smooth. My CZ 75 p-01 was already a pleasure to shoot but this kit made it even better.

I installed kits into a P-01 Omega and a 97BD. I thought the 97BD was a sweet shooting gun before the kit. It's even better now. Installation went smoothly with the video nearby stopping at each step. I would not have attempted it without the videos. Very thorough instructions to complement a well thought out kit. Performance? Both guns dropped from around 3 lb 8 oz to about 1.5 lbs in SA. In DA the P-01 dropped from 10 lb 6 oz to 6 lb. The 97BD went from 7 lb 3 oz to 4lb 10 oz. I've put 200 rounds through each since the swap with no issues. Glad I did it.

Put the kit in my 85b. The suggested install video was really helpful. Some of the pins did require a little more persuasion than in the video. Happy enough that I will probably convert another CZ with the kit.

Works great.

Got the spring kit, metal recoil spring rod, and trigger pin for my CZ-75B w/ safety. Did some polishing while apart. Everything went in well (thanks for the video) and I have the following results in lbs. Before kit: DA=10.5, SA=4.75. After kit: DA=7.5, SA=3.25. Trigger is smoother, especially in DA. While I didn't get sub-3 lb on the trigger, I'm very pleased with the results for the price. My CZ-P07 is next.

Worth it

Everything was shipped timely and the business was easy to work with. The installation video was to the T. And made installation easy ( this was first time breaking down the cz75 beyond a field strip). Great product. Great results. Significantly lighter S/A and D/A trigger pull. I also got the trigger pin and it corrected the problem of it working it’s way out after a day at the range. Worth it

Before installation double action was 9.5# and single was 4#. After installing the kit the double action is 5.75# and the single action is 2.2#. The action is way smoother as well.

Amazing difference! Put this on my CZ SP-01 and

my trigger pull smoothed out and was cut in half in both DA and SA

I have a CZ 75 P01 with a CGW spring kit in it and I like the Mcarbo better.

Boom!
