Huge bang for the buck! Word of advice though, just use small needle nose pliers to get the trigger return spring in place. That alignment tool is junk and too difficult. Mine was too short for one thing
A gunsmith I am not. The installation went smoothly for the most part. Removing the trigger pin using a 3/32 punch proved impossible on my pistol, per the video. Only after dropping down to 1/16" punch was I successful. Unfortunately,I lost the removal tool and had to make one from a toothpick, what the heck,it worked. All in all, I am very please with the end result, reduced double action pull and a really nice single action pull.
I tried to install the SP-01 kit myself and had difficulties with installing the retaining pin so I took it to a gunsmith to finish the job. I also had it installed on my Compact. Shooting accuracy significantly improved!
Installed in 75BD Police. Installation video helpful but it's not much harder to disassemble the sear cage. Installation tool included in kit was essential. Polished internals prior to installation. Smooth 7.5lb DA pull and nice 3lb SA. Primer strikes still nice and deep. Bought a 2nd kit for the PCR I have on order.
Lightened up my trigger tremendously and is a good bit more crisp. Good value for the money. Fairly easy to install with the included slave pins. Worst case scenario you learn how to put your sear cage back together. Not too difficult but be confident and you will get it done. Well worth a few hours of dealing with tedious springs. None of them are wound up with a ton of pressure so while it might be nerve racking for it to fall apart, it still won't be terrible. Few tips, when doing the firing pin retaining pin/block lever do it with the slide on the gun. Prevents the need for 3 hands. Also, if you can, use a small piece of metal as the trigger slave pin instead of the included nylon pin. The nylon pin will work, but it can't really be reused after you beat on it a couple of times. It's a really nice trigger kit for the price.
The video of detail alone makes this spring kit so much easier even first timers. The right tools ,patients , a good clean work area with plenty a light , and the video make this insulation smooth as any other spring kit on the market great price . I installed the MCARBO spring kit in my CZ 75 Compact and my CZ RAMI, and I could not be happier with the results. The installation video is the best, and I suggest viewing it multiple times before making the spring kit installation. The kit went into the Compact quickly, smoothly, and without a hitch. The trigger return spring on the RAMI was a bit of a challenge, but patience and perseverance resulted in success. I strongly recommend MCARBO CZ spring kits!
When I received my CZ P-01 back from MCarbo, I was blown away by the difference in the trigger pull. The smoothness and take up were outstanding. I also opted for the floating trigger pin. Best money I ever spent! Highly Recommend!!
I ordered and installed this kit. Just followed along with the video. Great instructions. Perfect fit and no fitting required. In SA mode, my trigger pull was 5.5 pounds. After installation, the trigger pull is 3.5 pounds. I was hoping for a little lighter but I started at 5.5 pounds. Excellent kit. Can’t wait to get to the range.
Fantastic results with this kit. The kit included everything needed to do the swap, video’s were very helpful. This kit reduced double action trigger pull by half, and single action by 2 lbs. Turned a good shooting pistol into an excellent shooting pistol. Highly recommended.
the rigger kit is assume .the trigger spring can be a little pain but worth it i used a little 2000 grit emery paper to knock off a wire edge on sear and same for top of trigger shoe when doe no creep nice firm trigger and clean break . ended up with 1lb 15 oz single action and 5 lb 6 oz double action this is strictly a range gun change and love it no soft strikes runs great
Installed this kit on my RAMI, the video varied a bit from the install on a RAMI but still very easy. The pistol feels great looking forward to my next day at the range. Thanks MCARBO
A wonderful upgrade for my carry. Tried to do the complete upgrade myself but did not follow the instructional video properly and ended up losing a small spring. Ordered a replacement spring and had my local gunsmith finish the project. Shoots so smoothly and quickly. Get this trigger packet!
Just competed 2 installation in another CZ 2075 Rami using the modified Rami Version of the CZ Trigger Spring Kit. The take up was reduced and the Break is as smooth as glass. Pull weight was measured using a Wheeler Digital Trigger Scale with 3 pull average. Before M*Carbo Dbl. Action pull was 6 lbs. 7.5 ounces, & Sngl. Action was 2 lbs. 14.4 ounces After the M*Carbo kit installation the Dbl. Action pull was reduced to 2 lbs. 14.7ounces & Sngl. Action to 1 lb. 12.8 ounces, actually to light for an inexperienced shooter carry gun but very pleasurable to shoot at the range. Thanks M*Carbo for a great product.
Never received shim and pin for assembly like in video. So I have not tried kit yet. Called office and the women said she would take care of it. still nothing I will probably cut a nail or something.
I installed this along with the reduced reach short reset kit from CZ Custom and what a dream it is. I ended up with a slightly over 4 lb. double action pull and an amazing 2 lb. pull on Single action. Installation was straight forward and pretty simple actually. Awesome kit for the 75 B.
