I just finished replacing my Trigger Springs with the kit from M-CARBO. The kit had EVERYTHING needed to do the job. The video's step by step instructions are invaluable and NECESSARY! The reason I purchased the kit is so my wife could use my CZ 75 because before installing the kit she could barely pull the trigger. Now she has no problems AT ALL. THANKS CHRIS

I ordered the spring kit for my CZ 75 compact. The springs we all there and the instructions video was the best instructions video I have ever watched, and I'm a Gunsmith so I use videos all the time. This video from MCarbo was spot on. It explained everything and showed how to replace each spring. Because of the great video, I had all the springs on my CZ75 replaced with the new ones in under an hour. I would definitely recommend MCARBO to everyone I know. My single action trigger pull went from over 11lbs to a respectable 7lbs. And with the hammer cooked, the trigger pull went from 7.3lbs to an incredible 5lbs!!! Thanks for making such a great spring swap.

Sincerely......Gregory Simpson, Owner

Ordered on a Wednesday and received the following Saturday via USPS. Ordered a Floating Trigger pin as well. Installed all springs (Some more difficult than others) and went to the range today. Very smooth and accurate. Very little recoil and the trigger pull was very light. Would definitely buy again and recommend as well

I was able to improve the DA trigger pull from over 9 to just over 7 and the SA from 4 11 to 2 6. This gun is great to shoot.

Guys .... just want to offer a recap post-installation of the M-Carbo spring kit for my CZ 75 Compact. In a word ... “remarkable” improvement. I’ll admit I was originally a bit skeptical; however, the proof is in the performance! Double-action trigger pull is fluid with a clean break ... precise follow-up single-action will require discipline & focus.

I ordered this kit for my CZ 75 Compact. Shipping was fast, the quality of the product was excellent and the installation was a snap.....with the help of the videos. The results were what I expected, 2 lbs improvement on the single and double action pull. The pistol is brand new so I expect improvement as I shoot it more. Don't forget to order the floating trigger pin...huge improvement to the stock one.

Install was straight forward except the sear spring, my pcr had a different pin retaining the sear with a fixing insert part # 63 . So I skipped the sear spring install, video didn’t show this

My double action went from over 10lb to 8lb and single action is now 3.5lb very good improvement

Much smoother pull.

All in all cleans up the stacking and rasping of the overall mechanics. I changed all but the trigger spring as noted below. In respect just changing the main Hamner spring on the pistol makes a major difference. But satisfactory for a carry pistol and a very economic upgrade cost.

Pro’s

Big difference on performance and feel of the pistol

Con’s

1. Sear Slave pin needs to be a tad longer ( Apex tactical slave pin is slightly longer and easier to capture the lift spring), would constantly not capture the last elements of the cage on assembly and disassemble, I found it easier to rebuild the whole cage from scratch, gets easier as you rebuild it.

2. Trigger return spring just to light, trigger would not return without help on most single action occasions. ( note change the trigger spring out while the sear cage and hammer are removed it’s easier)

3. Firing pin retention spring is way harder to install than demonstrated.

4. Suggest adding a lifter spring to the kit, lost the original on the third rebuild. Easily lost and seldom found and only $2, buy a few spares.

I love the results after installation. I will say installation is not as easy as the video made it look but is doable. My double action pull went from 11 pounds to 7.5 pounds and single action is now 3 pounds. Best trigger ever now and all parts are well made.

First the good: the trigger pull is pretty great. The single action is about as light as i would want to go. The double action feels like a beretta 92 with a d spring. Just a more complex route to get there.

The bad: the install is not easy. I watched the video pausing along the way to perform the steps.

The slide parts installed exactly like the video. No problem. The new retaining pin worked well.

Removing the hammer spring cap wasn't as easy since the pcr doesn't have a lanyard loop. I used a punch. No big deal.

Things start going awry when removing the decocking lever on the pcr. The video has an entirely different model with a different method of disassembly.

The pcr had the decocking lever held in place by the long leg of the sear spring. You have to lift it up to push the lever out. I figured it out. No big deal.

Now things get very different. The sear cage pin is retained by a washer in the frame which has to be knocked out on the pcr. Then significant punching to get that pin with a solid friction fit to back out. I got it out eventually. It was tricky. The instructions were good after i got that pin out. The disassembly slave pin was pretty slick.

And finally the trigger spring should have been super easy. It is supposed to be flared on one end. Mine was flared on both ends. I used a 1/16” punch and knocked the pin through. I replaced the trigger with a cgw trigger and the pin with the mcarbo floating pin. Glad i had the floating pin because the old pin was damaged from removal.

The only reason i knocked off a star was because the pcr install was quite different from the video at times which led to over 2 hours of install time.

If you are not a technical person or don't have the correct tools, do not attempt this on your own.

I ordered this kit after having my cz 75 lower cerakoted and polishing the internals.since I had fully stripped it . I might as well upgrade. I am so glad I did, my single action is like butter , light yet crisp snap. The double action is also much lighter than the factory. Putting the sear cage together is probably the hardest part, but the instructional video is awesome and helped alot. Oh and you cant beat the price.

All the parts to overhaul/replace all factory springs/pins in one kit. Instructional video is quite helpful. An a complete novice I was able, with some fumbles, to reduce the DA/SA pull weights and enjoy a much reduced trigger pull and replace factory slide lock and trigger pins for reduced chances of breakage from normal use.

Mcarbo was always ready to offer helpful suggestions.

A complete kit for all essential springs and pins to reduce trigger pull and replace a critically recommended pin: the slide firing pin retaining pin. It is also extremely helpful that the procedure to replace all these parts is supplied on their website as a video. I think it would be additionally helpful if the small one-use plastic tool, which helps with the trigger return spring was packed separately. this little tool, which is very helpful, can be lost in the packaging with all the other parts. I nearly missed it and would have without the video mentioning it and showing its use. I've ordered 2 of these kits: one for my gun and one for my friend who wanted the great results I got with my gun. Both kits worked out well.
