Outstanding product and great video made it easy to install! Bought a kit for my P-01 and for my SP-01 decockers. night and day difference with the trigger pull
I installed the kit with relative ease - It’s no Glock part swap but it was very manageable for someone with even modest experience working on firearms. This is the only upgrade I’ve done to this pistol so far and the reduction in trigger pull weights seem to be as advertised and I’m pleased with the results. I wish MCARBO had an install video specific to the Omega trigger system as the sear spring replacement is quite different from the typical CZ75 and wasn’t immediately obvious. But a quick look at the owner’s manual parts diagram sorted it out well enough.
What a huge difference than the stock springs on both double action and single action. The reset was also much shorter and straight to the wall. Double action pull dropped to around 8 lbs. Single action is between 2.8-3 lbs. I had it installed at gun store. It took a while to get it back, because they are so busy, but I'll be putting more of these springs in my other CZ 75'S. Highly recommend this product. Also, I received the product very promptly and follow up customer service was excellent.
This is the second spring kit that I have ordered and I have been very satisfied with their fast service and quality of parts. I also ordered the stainless rod. Will order more!
I bought the Trigger Spring Kit, added the Floating Trigger Pin and added the Stainless Steel Guide Rod for my CZ 75 P-01. Installed the parts myself--had to buy a roll pin punch set because I'd never attempted this type of work. I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! The trigger pull is definitely lighter in both DA and SA. IMHO, I would say the trigger pull is definitely smoother and has less creep--still a little, but much improved. I watched the video a couple times and then used the printed instructions to complete the install. Very good instructions, some of the best I could find on YouTube. I did not install the sear spring. Decided I would see how the trigger felt without it. The floating trigger pin is a must have. And the stainless steel guide rod is just plain cool. Happy to replace the stock plastic one! For me M*CARBO was the way to go--the price was right and with a lifetime guarantee on the parts--how could you go wrong? Customer Service was top-notch, too. I appreciated Chris' emails keeping apprised of my order all the way through delivery.
This kit really improved the overall feel of the trigger. I followed the video and it was very helpful. One thing that was not covered id when removing the sear cage assembly, there is a tiny retaining disc on the left side of the PCR that has to be removed B4 the pin will come out. That is not mentioned in the video. That pistol may not have had it. Other wise all went well.
Thanks guys, another very fine product. On my CZ, the trigger pin had the flair on the left side of the frame. The install was as per your video and the only problem I encountered was your spring install tool was a little short and more of a hindrance than help. I used my 1/16 pin punch to align and use as the pilot and that worked much easier than playing with the mini pin provided. I do like the replacement hinge pin for the trigger and the firing pin cross pin. My CZ was a fine shooter to begin with, but, is now an excellent shooter. Only a month earlier I installed the spring kit for the 92FS in my M9A1. You have great products. Can you build something for my Mini 14? All my other guns have had trigger and spring upgrades. With the exception of my XD service 40 and Browning Black Label 380 (wife’s gun). Both of these are great shooters out of the box. I have a G23 with an Apex trigger kit and even then I prefer my XD over it. The only good thing I like about my 23 is the 9mm and Sig 357 conversion barrels I use with it. Thanks again. Bryan
This kit is well worth the money. I takes the right kind of tools, patience and time to install, but the result you feel when shooting is worth it. Watching the video by mcarbo on youtube while working on the modifications is a must.
Fine quality parts finished and formed very well. Installation just as video showed it to be. Transformed the heavy trigger pull to a very smooth and manageable pull weight. Absolutlely recommend this kit.
Great kit great service my order came sooner then what my email said easy to install even without the handy video that Mcarbo has on there website but if you need some extra insurance it is there to help Don’t have one of those trigger pull measuring tools but you can definitely notice the difference in trigger weight with this kit installed great product great service Thanks Mcarbo
Used M*carbo kits on cz SP01 and p01 . What a difference! Nice DA and awesome SA! Relatively easy installation process if you watch their video.
Had the CZ 75 SP-01 for a while but the trigger pull for double action is very heavy for me. Bought the parts together with others, and did the replacement. Took the trigger pull measurement before and after the work. Here are the results. Double action Before 9 lb 0.50oz, after 5 lb 1.30oz. Now it felt much much smoother and better than before. Without your detail visual video demonstration, I would not have done it. Thanks very much.
It was a PITA to say the least and I wanted to give up after upteen curse words and user errors. It would have been a bit easier if the video for the installation was for a Phantom model. There are enough differences to make it even more frustrating. The internet wasn't much more help, but I did perservere and now it is done. Rejoice! Great kit for the money and it does what its supposed to do..
I was pleased with the quality and fast shipping of the spring upgrades for my phantom. The job is done and I notice a good improvement in my trigger as I hoped. My only disappointment was with the video provided online which I watched many times as I worked my way through the project. The video was well done but never mentioned or showed the differences with the phantom from the rest of the sp-01 line although the parts are the same.
For the most part the kit works fine and give a good trigger pull reduction, however if you are installing it on a SP01 Phantom with decocker the video is not even close to accurate as the Phantom is in a world of it's own the trigger spring, hammer spring, and firing pin block spring are pretty much in accordance with the video, but when it comes to the sear cage some of the info is accurate however the removal of the sear cage and the internal procedure is intirely different I have installed this kit on SP01 Shadows, and Shadow II's and the video is accurat however as I said before beware of the Phantom it is in a world of it's own. Aside from the above I did install the kit and the results were as follows as measure with a Lyman Digital trigger scale using a 3 pull average. Before MCarbo DA 6 lbs. 3.9 ozs SA 4 lbs. 7 ozs. After M*Carbo DA 4 lbs.6.4 oz. SA 2 lbs. 1 oz. Good Reduction Crystal break however some creep was noticed I believe can corrected by bobbing the back of the sear at a 30 degree angle for approximately 1/3 of the surface to reduce the amount of engagement thus reducing the creep while still maintaining a positive engagement and a safe trigger.
I followed the video to install this kit and when I finished I got the same trigger pull weights as the video described. I think the service from this company and the quality of the parts I received is excellent. I will definitely do more business with this company as new products are introduced.
