Great spring kit well worth the $. I enjoy polishing all my guns always improves function. Did have a few problems but nothing that couldn’t be overcome. Improved pull weight to a bout 4.5 . Good to go thnx for a great product and video. My gunsmith likes your products too. Always buy from vets cause I’m one too. 3ID 1st Cav 1st ID

Made a bad trigger almost perfect. This was a horrible pull, now it is a clean ( as strickers go) pull around 3 to 4 lbs. This will improve any ones group ,even mine..You need some patience while getting thru an install, I did not watch the video of ,how to,so winging it took 4 hours +,so I got to do most every thing two or three times, called the learning curve. Any way the results were great. A word to those that aren't kitchen table Smith's, send it in to these folks, worth every penny. I have 2 T.C. compass rifles to get to ,so I expect great triggers when I get round to it. Good people to do business with and don't be like me ,ask them any questions that may come up,pretty sure they got our backs.....God Bless the USA...
My first mod, on my new Shield Plus, I prefer light triggers for 3 shot placement. And I have gotten a few OF these kits Always from MCARBO! Quick shipping, quality products! And now I have the new kit installed, and it functions well as stock. Just need to test it at the GUN CLUB, soon.
I just Got a new Shield Plus - and Had to try M- Carbo kit (again)--- after a did a Complete Disassembly- cleaned it ( cause S&W don't after they Test fire it ) --- but I did Polish All Contact Surfaces ( metal to metal / plastic to ) & deburred the Polymer Frame- then did a Thorough cleaning Before Installing the Spring Kit from M- Carbo. WOW ! Was that An Improvement ! Awesome "Smooth take up - Firm wall -Crisp Break to the Striker! Very Nice Smooth Light / Short Reset.. Now if M-Carbo Could Make a Better RECOIL ( STEEL PLEASE) - For My Arthritic Hands - I have Issues Racking any Pistol these days .... I just hope When I do find A Lighter Recoil setup / it don't Make the Muzzle Rise worse or the Recoil harder.. we will research that later. Right now I want TO GO TO THE RANGE - And test my New Carry Pistol .....
This kit was a game changer for my 1.0 M&P 9mm Shield...the i structions for the job were simply outstanding! I highly reccomend this kit and this company to all my brothers and sisters in arms. Stay safe!
I installed the spring kits in my shield 2.0 .45 and my dads shield .40, absolutely a great value for these kits and made both of these completely different guns. The factory triggers were about 7lbs and rough, after the install triggers are around 4.5 and much smoother. The price point is great and the videos were very useful.
Installed the kit but didn't feel much of a change in trigger pull until I went to the range a shot approximately 100 rounds. Definitely a noticeable improvement now.
At first, after installing and polishing, following the video, I wasn't very impressed with the lightness of the trigger pull. Took the pistol to the range yesterday and put 100 rounds through it and I gotta say there's a definite improvement in the trigger pull now. I guess everything just needed to settle down with some firing, I'm going to get the kit for my M&P 1.0 full size now.
This is a follow up of a review I had make earlier today. Not sure if you will post it? I had stated that I felt like the shipping charge was unfair. What I did not state was that I purchased 2 of the Shied Trigger Kits for $24.95 for a total of $49.90. I would have gladly paid the extra 10 cents to get the free shipping! The web site specifies $50.00 purchase, Free Shipping! Just a thought for the company to think about! Any clarification on this issue would be appreciated. Order # 388848.
What a great reduction in trigger pull! It went from 7.5lb to 4.5lb. Now I did polish everything I could and did some extra work on the sear. My problem was charging a shipping fee! If you have $50.00 free shipping listed, Then why did you not charge $25.00 for the product? I fee that is unfair! I should be reimbursed for the shipping fee or charged more for the product. I think that in the long run it will help you sell more product! I am being honest in this review!
All my parts were packaged well arrived quickly and were very reasonably priced. I followed video installation and it worked out great. Best trigger feel my gun has ever had. It is now a pleasure too fire. All grittiness is gone and gun fires perfectly. Could not be happier with purchase. Will use again if needed.
I did not use the striker block spring nor did I polish anything. Even so, there is a significant improvement in smoothness of trigger pull and a much lighter and crisper pull. Love this kit. I used it on 2 Shields, one 3” and one 4” barrel. Video instructions were perfect. If you have a magazine safety you do not need to remove the catch to remove the sear pin, just letting you cuz I spent some time trying to figure oit jow to remove before I realized the pin will come come out without removing it.
I don't have a trigger gauge but the trigger on my M&P Shield 2.0 went from very good to "Just outstanding"! The gun out of the box has a great trigger for me, but this kit made it even better! By watching the video it was a very easy job to do.
