IF you are installing these awesome springs on a Chicom AK variant, be advised the recoil spring frame is different from the more rigid, "tweezer-style" used in European/Warsaw Pact rifles. It's a piece of braided wire,with a minamalist "cap"... and the re-springing process is tedious, as the braided wire is too flexible. It can certainly be done, but I had an unissued Polish recoil-spring rod handy...I slipped the Enhanced spring on it <easily as in the video> and Installed the whole unit into my tired old Norinco Type-56 rifle. May as well upgrade the whole spring assembly if you can! See pix for what I mean. My second spring went into a cool custom AMD-65 based build. Hungy/Polish recoil spring rods are close to identical...easy installs!
I have these springs in both my Aks. Smoothed out my actions and both Aks run like sewing machines. Definitely recommend these springs for any Ak.
Spring works perfectly as advertised. Use a vise to hold the rod while installing. It really was strong and more care needed when compressing during reinstall.

Definitely made the recoil better. This was a really nice trigger recoil spring and an easy install; and that's only because you produce easy to understand and detailed install videos, which no body I know does that. I purchased this for my Zpap M70. My M70 did not have any gassing issues however, I wanted to prolong my rifle to prevent any damage happening to the rear trunion. I felt it helped with recoil a bit. I would be interested to see how this compares to the ALG recoil kit. Overall great spring upgrade!
Spring was quite a bit longer for sure, works nicely in gun. Glad I bought it now!
The increased spring tension worked well to reduce recoil and have to believe it will help reduce wear and better protect my C39V2...less shock...over the long run.\

Purchased a Romarms/Cugir Paratrooper. This is my first AKM so I did some research to discover that factory spec springs are usually inadequate. Ordered the spring from m carbo. These guys do a good job, the video directions make it clear and easy to understand. If you are reading this and have the factory stock spring on your AKM just look no further and add this one. It really does help.
Awesome product, bought a very used AK with a weak spring had cycling issues, new spring everything was fixed and running smooth. Super easy to install with no tools.

Helped with my Palmetto GF3 bolt hanging up when closing while manually cycling. Haven't shot it yet but MCARBO parts have always been good to me. Watch out when installing with oily hands!
