My order showed up quickly and was pretty easy to install. I installed it on a PSAK47 GF3 and the rifle functions flawlessly with noticably reduced recoil. The action of the gun also seems to be more quiet, hopefully it will make a difference when my can gets out of jail. I'm told the stronger spring also increase the life of the bcg by keeping it from hitting in the rear when cycling, only time will tell though.

When installed it functions as a recoil spring. I cannot really feel any difference over the Arsenal supplied spring in my SLR107. I can tell you that when installing the new spring you will hear words bellowing from your mouth you have never heard before. To say installation is a breeze is delusional. Keep at it and despite the wife going to her mothers house taking the kids and despite your dog hiding from you, eventually you will get the spring installed and the retainer clip back on with only a sore spot on your sternum and a bit of hoarseness to show for your efforts. I installed an ALG recoil spring in another AK I own........and found the same vocal outbursts during that install as well. Make SURE you want to replace your old spring before going down this road.

I was replacing the very old Hungarian recoil spring in a parts kit rifle. The MCARBO +15% recoil spring was substantially longer than the old worn out factory spring, the disparity being even more extreme than the one in the MCARBO tutorial video (4 inches or more). However, installation was easy enough and upon installation in the weapon, the difference in spring tension against the bolt carrier was immediate and obvious. I'm very glad that this product exists and can't thank you guys enough for producing it.

M Carbo always some of the best products, but I half to tell you The spring for the AK 47 is a bugger to get on. Or should say it was for me. I had to have help. I will be 71 in August, I think that has a lot to do with it. Chris make it look so easy. The spring works great in my AK. If you have an AK, get one you want be sorry.

I have an Egyptian MAK 90 that was in desperate need of a new spring and this upgrade was just the thing I needed for a good price. Installation was simple in concept, but the new spring was definitely harder to compress. It slipped once and whizzed past my head at speed of light, so definitely wear some eye pro.
I've had mine for a few months and it's a major difference from the factory spring. This spring definitely tames the recoil and just makes the rifle feel better while shooting and cycling. Just purchased another one for my brother after shooting his and feeling the difference between the two. Great product, if I build an AK in the future, this is definitely going in it.

I am an AK fanatic and own a few of them. As we all know some of them come over gassed and to save on wear and tear I decided to give this product a try. I add these springs to two of my AK rifles and I am glad I did. I could tell the difference even before shooting them. I only ran 60 rounds per rifle do the ammo being the way it is but you could feel the reduced recoil so I know the rear trunnions are thanking me. Instillation is a breeze. The spring is a bit stiffer than the original and so a bit more difficult to depress down but still very doable and well worth the effort. I am happy to support a company ran by fellow vets. Can't go wrong with this spring as far as I am concerned.
M*CARBO's how-to-install video made changing out the past-its-freshness-date OEM recoil spring for the Extra Power recoil spring a problem-free task that only took a couple of minutes. Runs great with zpap. For the money it's a no brainer. Better feeding and def a welcome upgrade for an overgassed AK. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Pleasantly surprised that there is a noticeable recoil difference, not a huge difference but noticeable. I have about 600-700 rounds through my RAS47. I was concerned about rear trunnion abuse and rivets. I have not had any issues with the rifle after install. No cycling issues with tula, wolf, red army standard ammo. It's an AK I only feed it cheep steel cased ammo. No FTF or FTE, smooth cycling action a little bit tamer. Super sub 20 buck upgrade. Happy customer.
