If you reload this spring may not cycle with low power loads.Do a small test batch first. The lead is a big fail. Some have said it will cycle the ak but did not with the heavy spring. The Inceptor is a big YES. Boosted the charge a tiny bit now all good. Love the spring. I will adjust my loads.
Love it.I put it on my kids Century arms VSKA. Cut the recoil a lot.Much less CLANK. Watch the how to video. It is easy to install with a second person to help. Better with 3 hands.-----Factory ammo all good.---RELOADS. I did 3 at starting charge. #1 Gold Dots at abt 2100fps. All good. #2 Cast lead from Hunter Supply. They need to be kept under 1600 fps according to Hunters. Data from Lyman starting 1552 fps. Should cycle according to what others say but with the new spring they don't. #3 Inceptor short range rifle 90gr. They are a frangible copper/polymer range round. Starting load 2725fps data from Inceptor page. Not quite hot enough to cycle every time with this spring. I like them and they will be good with a charge closer to max. I will post updates after the next batch.
I thought my PSAK-47 Gen 3 may have been a little over-gassed so I bought this spring. What a difference! It was super easy to install and hasn't short-cycled once after 800 rounds of 4 different brands of ammo. The AK now recoils more like an AR and is much easier control and re-acquire/stay-on the target.

You'll notice a difference between the old spring and a new one. This was the best money I've spent on my AKM, the old spring would cause feed and extraction malfunctions from reduced recoil. Decided to try a new spring, and now the gun is running smooth with zero errors after 1000 rounds. You will not regret this purchase.
Excellent product. Fit perfectly into my Century C39V1 Classic. Fixed my issue of the bolt getting hung up on the hammer when charged to gently. I also feel like I won’t need a plastic recoil buffer, to keep my carrier from slamming into the rear of the receiver, any longer because of the extra power of the spring. The action feels so much smoother and I can’t wait to shoot it! Shipping was a lot faster than I expected given the current circumstances. I’ve been waiting over a month for an order from another company. Good job MCARBO! I’ll certainly be back for more.

This extra power spring did the trick in my way overgassed AK. The bolt carrier no longer contacts the rear trunnion slapping me in the face. Shipping was fast and on time! Great job MCarbo!!
The only complaint I have is more of an observation. In the video, it looks really easy to replace the AK47. On my WASR 10/63, it was hard as hell to swap out. That being said, I did eventually swap it out. So far so good.
I am the proud owner of a Jam-o-matic AK made by a company in Fla. It was sitting in the back of the box for 6 years unfired until it was recently rediscovered a couple of weeks ago. As I read the reviews of it on the media sites I was disheartened to learn of the "over gassed under sprung" and sorry about that lifetime warranty issue. So, Friday morning last I ordered the spring, it shipped that afternoon and was in my hands Monday afternoon. Wham bang thank you ma'am. Upon removal of old spring, which seemed like an overgrown ball point pen spring I installed the newer, better, faster, able to leap tall cases of Tula damn that is a tough spring. Left the bolt buffer in and did not radius the the rails on the bolt just to see what would happen. Of course I cleaned and lubricated the weapon first and 60 really fast shots later I can tell you that piece of firewood will never back talk me again. Upon removal of dust cover the bolt buffer was untouched and nothing else had fallen off so I am somewhat optimistic. Thank you again for the fast shipping and best luck for all of us moving forward.
Easy installation after watching the video and makes the AK a little more enjoyable
Great product! Put it on and it was a bear to do so. Really helps control the firearm. Got it for my son in law's AKM. To allow a lot of practice. I believe in accuracy and practice. He may need to "Have my back " someday. More range time for him. All in all a good purchase.I will be back for more products MCARBO!
The recoil harmonics has changed in the two rifles I installed it in. One is a factory AMD65 SBR and the other is a factory Kassnar SA85M AKA the AK63D. Installation was easy once you follow the easy steps video. The 1st couple of times, it was short cycling but then after that, it stopped doing that altogether. Will be ordering more for my other 4 Hungarian made AK rifles. As a Factory representative for FEG, I am recommending this for all FEG AK owners. This really made a huge difference. I have tried the Wolff +10 percent and also the ALG and I prefer this one much better. Thanks for making this product.
