All I have to say is if you have the ruger pc carbine I highly recommend that you upgrade with the mcarbo pc carbine parts I have installed them all and a great improvement from the stock parts .great job to chris and crew at mcarbo
This is a must! My factor extractor failed after 40 rounds.Make sure you get the A2 bolt pins and extractor pin also mine .Pat G.
The MCarbo PC9 extractor is a huge improvement over the original. Ejects with authority!
If you're going to have a problem with a Ruger semiautomatic the factory extractor is one of the first places to look. I replaced my extractor before I even shot the gun. My PC9 has run flawlessly. TY

I was getting at least one FTE per 17 round magazine event after filing the point on the Ruger extractor. Installed and just shot 9 magazines with zero failures. Excellent product!
This gun doesn't have 500 rounds thru it and has always had at least one stovepipe per magazine. Since I reload, I suspected the gun didn't like the reloads. After reading about the Exact Edge Extractor by MCarbo, I removed and inspected the factory extractor and found it to be in poor condition after only less than 500 rounds. Installing the Exact Edge Extractor completely eliminated the problem. Thanks for a well made product.
Like many, I had quite a few stove pipe issues with the Ruger extractor and decided to upgrade. After installing, I ran a couple hundred rounds through it and had zero problems. This is the best upgrade anyone can make to a brand-new PC 9 right out of the box! Literally took me 10 minutes to install!
Prior to this extractor upgrade, my new Ruger PC9 Carbine was stovepiping 3-4 times in every 17 round mag. After getting the part , watching the instructional video and installing...300 rounds sent, zero stovepipes! MCarbo are my bros for life! Very pleased with the results.
Excellent part. After only 744 rounds there was a fair amount of wear on the original extractor. Works great with good ejection.
When you match the Mcarbo and the factory extractor up together you will see the difference immediately!
I was having issues with reliability with my pc carbine. I was getting failure to eject and stove piping. Everyone recomended replacing the extractor. It came fast in the mail, and it looks like it’s great quality compared to the poor factory extractor. The edge quality is crisp. Took it to the range and tried out 3 different grain weight and I didn’t have a single issue after that. Still need more range time to be sure, but I’m almost certain this fixed the issue.
Ruger made a great carbine, MCarbo upgrades make that weapon exceptional. This quality machined extractor is a definite upgrade to the stock part that adds reliability and longevity. No brainer 5 star purchase.
I just put 500 rounds down range. I had 100% reliability with no failure to extract or eject. I put the new extractor in with the new pins fixed the extractor issues
Originally bought ita couple of years ago to replace factory extractor as it was worn out. Running smoth over 2 years and thousands of rounds. Bought another one just to have.
