It's nice to have my carbine not have anymore problems. Very happy with mcarbo.
Just install into my rifle A+, Excellent fit perfect no Problem. I have complete replaced most of the parts on the rifle from MCARBO. all I need is springs HI. I did not buy a Muzzel Break. I have no need for that part at this time. The steel trigger is great. I us this gun for fun around my camp. Just wish I could get more reloading stuff.

The Ruger Carbine is a great firearm, but there are some known areas of weakness. One of those problem areas is extractor wear which manifests in jams and stovepipes. This extractor wear is brought forth by design and execution weakness. It generally manifests sometime after use, which can vary as to number of rounds through the rifle. The MCARBO extractor is very robust steel, and pertinent contact points between extractor and ammunition case are more precisely executed and uses slightly larger contact points of the extractor and the shell case. Overcomes problems and weakness areas described in the preceding. As noted, this component at the very least will ameliorate most of the extractor issues related to causing jams and stovepipes. Further, installation is relatively easy and there are readily accessible videos and instructions to install the improved after-market extractor. You also have MCARBO's excellent communication as to shipping, and transportation of your purchase.
Did a full upgrade on my PC Ruger this weekend replaced the Edge Extractor, Shock Buffer, Bolt Head and Extractor Pins, SS Recoil Spring Retainer, and SS Trigger Pin Group Pin Kit. Very happy with the quality of these replacement parts over the factory parts.

Dealing with Mcarbo is a pleasure - they say what they do and do what they say, 100 per cent. Fit and finish of their parts is excellent, the installation videos are clear, thorough, and easy to follow.
The bundle was OOS so I bought the extractor, recoil spring, buffer, c-clip and 3 pin extractor/bolt head kit. Installation was straight forward watching the video. Had it apart and back together in no time. I tried the charging handle on the left side and didn't care for it o I moved it back to the right.
I purchased a new Ruger PC carbine recently and right off the bat I was getting stovepipes about every 20-25 rounds, which was of course very disappointing. The rounds that were being ejected were done so in an erratic fashion. I was using new Remington UMC 124 grain ammo. I ordered the extractor from MCARBO and my order was delivered promptly. Installation was very easy. Since installing this part I have had no more FTE or stovepipes. The spent cases are being consistently ejected at about 3:00 and they are landing several feet away. I have shot at least 300 rounds so far and a couple different brands with no problems. I hope this will hold up over time. It was really like night and day comparing the Ruger and MCARBO part. I am happy with this purchase. Thanks
I installled this ejector, and the A-2 Steel Pin Kit, and like magic, the failure to eject/stove pipe issues were gone when using a Glock magazine out of my Ruger PC-9 Carbine. Great job, MC Carbo! You nailed this one!
I added every part they make for this gun and it has yet to fail to extract steel or brass it doesnt care it just works like all of MCARBOs parts.
I purchased the extended charging handle, exact edge extractor, shock buffer, A2 Tool Steel Bolt Head Pins & Extractor Pin Kit, Stainless Steel Trigger Group Pin Kit & Stainless Steel Recoil Spring Retainer. I'm 100% happy with the items. Shipping was quick and quality is great American made. I'm going to do the flat trigger next. Installed the MCarbo extractor, bolt and extractor pins, shock buffer, recoil spring retainer and carbine recoil pad today. Very easy and only took 30 minutes. The factory extractor only had 300 rounds on it, but was already worn and the hook was rounded off. Quality parts and very fast shipping. AAA+++
Just got done on a M-Carb extractor install on a slightly used gun I had bought that would never make it through one mag without a stovepipe. Just ran 6 mags through it without one stovepipe. Love the parts and now the gun too! Thanks !
With this upgrade you can be reassured you will not have to worry about stove piping. The brass comes flying out like never before.
