I got my Ruger PC about a years ago. It’s had about 300-400 rounds through it. After seeing on YouTube reviews how extractor issues occur, I decided that it’d be wise to fix the problem before it presented itself. After watching Mcarbo’s videos, it took me about 5 seconds to replace my extractor with the new one. While I was in there, I replaced the extractor pins and the shock buffer. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be so I couldn’t see wear on the extractor but the buffer and one of the pins already had wear. And since I can’t see so well anymore, having pins simply fall out is an issue. I like the idea of things holding together. I hate finding little parts in my lap when cleaning a weapon.
I love my 9mm Ruger PC Carbine but hated the constant stovepipes--spent casings failing to clear the chamber. Finally went on line after trying several unsuccessful fixes (more or less gun oil on the bolt group, top shelf ammo, etc.). Saw where others tried a new extractor so I gave it a try with a new part from M*Carbo. Easy to swap out using the Ruger manual. Loaded a BUNCH of magazines (17 and 33 rounds using the Glock mag well and magazines) and went to the range to see how it would operate with the new extractor. Where I used to get at least one stovepipe in a magazine, fired over 200 rounds with ZERO problems!!! Totally awesome, especially as I can count on that weapon now where I couldn't before. Totally worth the change. Thanks M*Carbo...just need to talk Ruger into using your extractor on the assembly line! See pictures for the difference, should be clear which was the "stock" extractor and the new one before I put it in my carbine.
My Ruger PCC started having stovepipe jams, worked great for several months prior. Putting the OEM and Mcarbo extractors side by side, the Mcarbo’s looked much more “aggressive”. Just got back from the range and no jams after 100 rounds. Seemed to take care of the issue. Very high quality part.
The fact that former soldiers designed these parts instills a great deal of confidence. The installation videos are world-class and the part is top-notch. I also learned a lot more about my weapon while watching the installation video. Nice job gentleman!
Fast shipping, very easy to install with the supplied instructional video. Very noticeable difference between the quality of this one and the factory ejector. Took it to the range yesterday, and it ran flawlessly. I highly recommend this upgrade!
After about 600 Rd my Ruger pcc ejector started the round off and would fte ever 8 rds or so. I order the mcarbo ejector installed it after watching there video and 300 rds later not a single fte these guys are badass if you're on the fence just do it and I mean this thing flings the brass.
It's kind of pissed when I got this Ruger PCC and took it to the range fed it half dozen different kinds of ammo on both magazine types and had ftes every other mag. I oiled it up really really well and it only got worse. Bending the ejector didn't do anything nothing helped and these were brand new mags that I was putting in here. I put this exact edge extractor in today, took it to the range and put 500 rounds through it and didn't get one single FTE. This is the cure for this inconsistent gun.
My Ruger PC9 was problematic and I thought it was a ammo issue. After contacting Ruger they sent me an extractor that looked worse than the one in the rifle. So I did some research and I came across the Mcarbo extractor. It installed well and fixed the problem. Enough said.
The extractor pin has got a much better hook on it that the stock extractor. Also made from better steel so it won't wear out. Install a breeze
Grips the casing in a much more positive way than the factory oem part. Have a ruger PCC then you need this upgrade.
Purchased this extractor to replace the OEM part that looks cheap and has a lot of wear after only 300 rounds. The MCarbo part is well made and appears to be quality material. I highly recommend this upgrade!

I would get a failure to eject about every 20 rounds. After installing I shot 200 rounds through the PCC from 3 different brands and had no issues at all. So happy. Thank you
I just ran 400 rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger on my ruger pc carbine. I had 100% reliability with no failure to extract or eject. Before I put the new extractor in with the new pins I would have a failure every few rounds. To bad ruger couldn’t have built the rifle right the first time.
I’m writing one singular review for all of the internal upgrade parts I got, as it doesn’t really matter which is which. I upgraded to enhance the reliability of my personal favorite firearm, and altogether these parts did not disappoint. They really turn an already low recoil firearm into basically stable no matter the rate of fire. I’ve not had a single issue since replacing the factory parts. Good stuff.
I was having regular FTE problems... not just me but other friends as well. The Exact Edge Extractor solved them 100%.
