This product is great. Shooting with the original factory part was horrible. The first 100 rounds with the original part I had a few jamming problems. By the time I reached 300 rounds I could not get through a full magazine without multiple different issues. Now I live in NYC so my magazine only holds 5 rounds. Imagine how annoyed I was. I decided to buy this before I sent the rifle back to Ruger. Installing it was simple. I have reached 500 rounds and not one problem. Ruger can learn something from this company.
Shipping was fast and the installation video was easy to follow. It was easy to detect the higher level of quality with this product.

We run these guns hard and the stock Ruger extractor leaves much to be desired, the Mcarbo fills that desire and solves extraction issues! Well done Mcarbo!!
I would like to start with the fact the MCarbo Team lives up to their pledge. They not only delivered in a timely manner they kept giving updates on the shipment. As for the Ruger PC Carbine Exact Edge Extractor it functioned as described. I wanted to try this product because the one that came on the Ruger was showing wear with only 500 rounds shot. I only have a couple hundred on MCardos but the black oxide finish is not showing any wear. Great products, Great company.
At about 400 rounds, started having regular failure to extract. Thorough clean & lube, no change. Replaced worn OEM part, shot 100+ rounds yesterday of mixed new and reloads, functioned perfectly.
The OEM extractor is made of a soft metal and wears quickly. I was getting some stovepipes and decided to look for a replacement extractor. I was pleasantly surprised to find the high quality part made of tool steel. Part of my order was on backorder and I was impressed with the communication. The owner sent me a personal email letting me know when I could expect my parts and thanking me for my business.
After about 250 rounds, I began having extraction problems. I purchased this and some of the other PCC upgrades.

Just installed the new Extractor along with all the other internal upgrades. Great replacement for the stock extractor. Super easy to install watching the excellent video by M*Carbo.
My PCR9 is new but when I was at a PCC match at my club this fall I noticed that a lot of the shooters that had the PCR9 were having extractor issues. So I figured i would replace mine before I had any problems. I bought the new extractor pins as well. One can just see the superior quality of the new parts compared to the stock parts. I'll be doing more upgrades with M-Carbo parts. Thanks for making quality products
I had some issues with stovepipes and lazy extractions. I installed this extractor and all went away. Quality component, much more pronounced edges that the factory extractor, very easy to install especially with the detailed video. Highly recommended upgrade!
The geometry of this is far superior to stock. Easy install
This extractor is the best! My PC9 was nicknamed "The Stove Piper" by my buddies. Regardless of what mag type I used it was rare too get through a full one without multiple fte's. Thanks the M*CARBO exact edge extractor I haven't had a problem and my PC9 now deserves a righteous nickname!
My stock extractor was worn and not as precise as the MCARBO part. Perfect edges on it improve function.
