My stock extractor was worn and not as precise as the MCARBO part. Perfect edges on it improve function.
This extractor is a huge improvement over the OEM extractor. No more FTE’s or stove pipes. This extractor rips everything out and chucks it. I usually reload range pickup brass of questionable quality. Weak, hot, old, or new brass all gets ejected with authority. Buy with confidence, MCARBO makes good stuff.
The extractor broke during the first magazine I ran through it. I tried to get a warranty replacement but over the last two weeks I’ve gotten no response to two emails, two voicemails, and a text message. This is my last attempt to get some customer service.
Works as it should. No issues. Ruger should have made the OEM extractor with this kind of quality.
Inconsistent extraction/ejection started to become a problem and this seems to have done the trick to fix the problem. Seems well made, shipped quickly, no problems.
installed this in my problematic pc9, and then hit the range giving it the worst posible chance to succeed feeding it steel case wolf from an aftermarket glock 30rd mag. Despite all this the gun performed flawlessly! Im mad I had to buy this to make my brand new gun work, but happy the aftermarket stepped in to fix rugers mistake. Also the bought the bolt head pins because after a 100 rounds they looked like some apprentice attacked them with a pair of pliers.
When I first got my pc carbine it was stovepiping ALOT. O returned it to Ruger and once I got it back it was much better. Maybe 2 in 100 rounds. I put in this extractor and now it’s 0 in 150 rounds so far.
As advertised, it eliminated the occasional fail to extract. I wish I would have bought it the same time that I installed the upgraded recoil spring and buffer kit.
I should have bought this when I purchased the recoil reduction kit. It would have saved time. Excellent product.
My new extractor lasted 200 rounds and is chipping away. Customer service basically ignored my request on information on warranty. ...so much for "the brotherhood" Laughable
This is a small, but important upgrade. Quality item and works. Interestingly, I only had 100 rounds thorough a new PC9. When replacing this extractor, I noticed considerable wear on the original one already. Happy I "pre-fixed" it. Recommended
After installing extractor, bolt head pins, recoil sping, and buffer, I have had zero malfunctions with my PCC. I shoot Steel Challenge and USPSA matches and had numerous stovepipe jams and difficult extraction of live rounds with the factory parts. These parts are very high quality and have eliminated all problems with the Ruger PCC. Highly recommended.
After 1200 rounds or so extraction became an adventure with double feeds or more commonly stove pipes. Once I replaced the worn original extractor with the M*CARBO about 18 months ago the problems ceased. This purchase was for a friend whose PCC is new, but who will need the upgrade soon.
I have installed the ruger pc carbine trigger spring kit, heavy recoil spring, bolt pins and extractor. Today was my first day at the range with no malfuntions thanks to those upgrades. Amazing quality products from mcarbo. Keep up the good work. Must have for anyone with a Ruger pc carbine
Simple install with provided video! Once you see the stock sitting next to the mcarbo you will be blown away! Perfect extraction with every grain and type of ammo i have used and i have tried everything i can get my hands on! Highly Recommend!
