This trigger spring kit is the best purchase I’ve made for my s&w sd40ve. I hated that heavy factory trigger pull but with this mcarbo kit it feels like a completely different more responsive firearm

This was my second purchase of a trigger spring kit from M-CARBO. The first was for my sccy 9MM, this one for my SD9VE. Order was received within a few days with no issues! This install went as easy as the first one,just followed the install video as I went. Made for a much nicer trigger pull on the SD9VE! Thanks M-CARBO!
I'll just say I was no fan of the original trigger in my SD40VE. This trigger kit has changed that completely. It's like a new (and better!) gun.
I looked at a number of trigger alteration kits for my new SD40 VE, and even contemplated about making my own (retired jeweler), but after reviewing several Youtube video's and reading some forums decided on the MCARBO. The video production lead me through step-wise and in about 20 minutes all the springs were replaced. I took another 30 minutes (approx) to polish the parts that move against each other, and caused my trigger pull to be somewhat rough and gritty. Trigger pull is great and smooth. Thanks for a fantastic experience and design.
The gun jammed a lot in the first few magazines but has not since. The instal was not easy as the role pin does not pop out very easily and the pin to hold the trigger spring just makes the process more difficult. It took my local gun Smith nearly a hour to complete the job that should take just a few minutes. As for the function after the break in the trigger is about half as light but the trigger creep is still there and the reset is also still long. The gun feels like i am able to fire it faster. The kit does a lot of what I want but I honestly expected it to be better.
Recently had the spring kit installed professionally and first time on the range.. multiple misfires. Looks like I'll be going back to the gunsmith..
Best trigger upgrade. Easy to install and video was a must. Love the warranty and fact company is veteran owned and based. No need for additional trigger as I wanted my pistol to look like original. Shipping was quick.
This was such a great little upgrade. I shot a friend of mine's S&W at the range and was shocked at how horrible the factory trigger was. We ordered this kit and I just installed it for him and the new pull is probably close to half what it used to be. A remarkable difference and fairly simple to install!
