Not that you can tell from the pic, but straightforward instructions and video helped me swap out factory springs in my SD40 and reduce pull by ~3lbs. Will test it out this weekend at the range but love the feel so far. Highly recommend!
The spring broke for the trigger after approx 200 rounds. Gona try this product one more time.
Can not believe the difference this made! So much better! No to mention the video made it E.Z.! Everything worked as shown. Of course I'm not an expert so the pin push took a little longer. Great product and will now get the spring for my rifle! Thanks!

Have not shot my pistol since installing the kit, but the trigger pull is much, much lighter! Very easy installation, especially if you watch the YouTube video associated! May change the trigger later.

I've had this kit in my sd9 for about two years now and will over 500 rounds I haven't had no problems with it , all I have seen is improvement in my aiming and hitting my targets. I use to pull left and up but now I'm good, I going to buy two more of these for my brother and my dad. They have shot my sd9 and love the feel of the trigger pull, I do recommend installing a rubber grip sleeve for this firearm will help improve gripping and handling.
With my standard trigger and spring combo I am averaging under 2 pound trigger pull. This is not my first kit and the first one for the M&P was awesome. This kit I am not sure how this came to pass, but the "Alinement Tool" (short piece of dowel ) was so undersized it kept falling out even with grease on it and the trigger. I gave up after MANY tries and did it per APEX on the trigger install video. pulling the seal assy. out took less then 30 second and the project was done in under 3 minutes. FYI the one pin that holds the sear in on my SD40VE did not have gnarls on the pin either it's beveled on both sides. No issue with the kit other than the alinement tool Love the springs, will buy again, just pitch the tool and save the aggravation.
I am beyond satisfied with my trigger pull weight. The only issue is I had to go back to my stock striker spring. My firing pin is in almost new condition. The striker spring was to light and not striking hard enough to fire. After I swapped back to stock the gun fired all of the rounds the other spring wouldn't.
great product, the alignment tool is a life saver. Great customer service. When parts came the kit was not the correct on, called and they sent a rma number and shipping label before I was off the phone. It turned out I was close to their store so they allowed me to drop by and make an exchange. Would purchase from them again, keep up the great service standards.
Well it all fit up install was a little more difficult than the video made it look. Trigger feels great, we will see how it shoots when ammo doesn’t cost it weight in gold
before wanting the spring kit, I had no clue who mcarbo was. I wasn't sure if my money was just going to to be lost in the abyss or what the deal was hit order and shortly after confirmation emails started rolling in which was settling and since receiving it im still getting follow up emails to see how it is. Now onto the product. Installation was very easy and there was supporting videos,i pretty well had it put together in 15 minutes. As far as function goes, everything works, this in unison with the apex trigger has made this a very smooth action machine. The only thing I'm not sure about is weather the trigger pull was realy cut in half or not. At the end of the day I'll be ordering from them again, even if I were to get a lemon I feel like the guys here would make it right
Tried to fix the Mass. min 10 lb trigger two yrs. ago. and not satisfied. Installed trigger spring kit today. Wheeler gauge was reading 7 lb. 6 oz. before install and now reads 4 lb. 8 oz. Polished sear, trigger bar etc. 38 % reduction. Combined a competitors flat faced trigger to get rid of factory uncomfortable, pointed, stabbing tipped trigger.
The S&W SD9VE Trigger Kit evolved a really nice and inexpensive gun into a VERY nice weapon! I purchased the S&W SD9VE knowing some people are not happy with the trigger pull, both weight of pull and length of pull/reset, but the price was right and it looked like it would make a nice truck gun. I actually like the 7 lb. pull and the travel did not bother me, I thought the gun shot nice. But I wanted to put the trigger kit in just to see if it made a difference, and that was the best thing I could of done. It shoots like a fine weapon, and I have had no miss-fires for the first 500 or so rounds. I am actually considering this for my off duty carry pistol!
