Review
I just installed my trigger kit in my Sd9ve and I have to say from the original trigger pull to the new spring kit, the trigger pull is much smoother and feels very good. Even my wife notices the trigger pull deference.
The product helped the trigger pull as advertised. I had a bad experience installing the trigger return spring. The installation tool kept falling out and was rendered useless. I looked at another installation video and had no problem by using a pick. Good product, good service.
Product worked as described and reduced trigger pull. Only issue was that the installation tool was too big and could not be used.
Good product my first time working on a gun. The process was simple.
Night and Day Difference!! I was having light strikes and failure to eject issues, not to mention a terrible trigger pull! I installed this kit telling myself there is no way it was going to solve all these problems, BUT IT DID! Thanks Mcarbo!!
Very easy to install. Everything fits well. The instruction videos wil guide you through easily. very satisfied.
Great product, it does everything they say. It is claimed that it results in a 35% lighter trigger pull. In my estimation (no trigger pull gauge), this is spot on. Not only is the spring kit great, it made my SD9VE a much better pistol.
The trigger for the sd 40 ve was terrible I couldn't pull the trigger without shaking severaly but when I put this m carbo trigger spring kit it is so much easier to pull the trigger it has a nice clean break. I love it! Thanks m carbo!!!
This product greatly improved the trigger pull! I recommend it.
Fits perfectly works great
The original OEM trigger spring had a closed loop for the pin and a open loop on the other for the connector bar of the trigger. The replacement supplied in the kit had a open loop on both ends of the spring. When installing the pin end of the spring it would open and snap off the pin as it was inserted. After three attempts the OEM spring was reinstalled and another kit ordered from APEX.
Bought the spring kit and an apex trigger for my SD9VE since I got my weapon for such a good price. Never did like the factory two piece trigger or especially the heavy...long trigger pull! Thanks your kit it's a thing of the past. Easy pull and now it doesn't take 20 minutes to hit the break point. Haven't had a chance to try it out on the range but im sure all will funtion as normal. So as far as the install...the slide disassemble and assembly was pretty straightforward and painless. The trigger return spring in the body is a different story. The video addresses this as far as keeping everything in line and making sure the slide release spring is tucked down and under the top hold down assembly. Well...leave it to me to not notice that and then wondering why the slide won'tt go back on. Anywho...i got it finally but it was somewhat of a pain in the butt. I guess it just takes a little fiddling and getting to know the parts and orientation better. Thanks guys for a great product..fast shipping and exellent customer communication!
MCarbo may not be the biggest name in SD9 spring kits (yet) but they should be. The product quality is excellent, the instructional videos are some of the best available, and customer service is prompt and professional. Trigger feel is now FAR superior than stock trigger. I have another spring kit in another SD9, from "those other guys", and this spring kit blows it away. Spend your hard earned money here, with American made products, from a Vet owned company.
Great costumer service. Had me informed the whole time until received, fast services and it works great. It took me about 10 to 15 minutes to install. I will definitely buy from you guys again
I installed the cpx-2 performance kit and now this sd9ve trigger performance kit while following the video instructions and both perform flawlessly and are major improvements.
I installed this spring kit in a Smith Wesson SD9 2.0 and is ran well except for the firing pin spring. It will not disengage from the sear. Reinstalled the original spring and the firearm and now operating fine.
