I had a small amount of trouble with reassembly of the lower but I'm sure that's just me and my inexperience with it. The trigger feels a good bit better and lighter now and my accuracy has had a pleasant increase as a result. Don't even think twice about buying it's only 20 bucks and reversible. I couldn't go back to how it was without this kit just give it 100 rounds or so and it'll break in nicely. If you're anything like me and foolishly thought that by trigger pull reduction they meant the distance where the trigger sits to where it breaks, that's not what that means. The length of the trigger pull stays the same it's just lighter and somewhat effortless to pull it back which results in less hand tension and will (in my experience anyway,) keep the muzzle straighter as you pull back. Just buy it. Comes with a sweet sticker too
For someone who has never done any type of work on guns before im very amazed how fairly easy it was to change these springs. The trigger spring gave me a little bit of difficulty but i got it in. What a night and day difference these springs make on the trigger pull. This it the best upgrade for the SD9VE hands down
Amazing difference in trigger pull and travel. Feels like a totally different gun. I combined this spring kit with the bourdica flat trigger. World of difference in feel and shooting.
It only too me about 10 minutes to change the springs and now the trigger pull is down more in line with other sticker fired guns.
I hated the pull on this gun. But after the install process. It was so much better. Still a long distance pull on the gun but I don’t have to struggle at the end of the pull. Much cleaner. I will say the installation of the trigger spring was a lil tricky. Had to manipulate the spring so it would was caught by the pin an the gun would go back together. I haven’t been to the range yet.
