My wife is a small framed woman and recently acquired an SD40ve. Her first complaint was the trigger. I did some research and this MCARBO kit looked the best on paper. I have never done work on my own firearms, but with the instructional video and some patience this was a 15-20min job. The change in trigger travel and pull was drastic. My wife loves it! Now I want to get one of their kits for my daily carry as well.

I just installed the kit on my wife's SD9VE 9mm. I always hated the trigger on this gun but now it has a consistent wall and break point. Much more pleasurable to shoot, took a bit of patience to install (especially the trigger spring) but my fingers are stiff and old. Good value and product.

Night and day difference! Installed the kit with Galloway short throw trigger took under 30 minutes. Roughly .300 trigger travel from reset to stop and 4.5lb spring pressure. Couldn't ask for anything more.
I recently purchased a used S&W SD9VE from my preferred local shop at a remarkable steal with the intent of having a firearm to leave in the car or at camp that wouldn’t break my heart if it were stolen (aside from a criminal having a fire arm). However, it shot tragically low with the current mechanical sights and the trigger pull and travel was a travesty. I swapped the springs out with a MCARBO system, the trigger with a short stroke replacement, and added a reflex sight for an upgrade under $100 that elevated the firearm to nearly match grade.
The product is great. Took the bad trigger pull of a otherwise good gun and made it a shooter. Now the reason I gave it four stars. The installation was not as easy as the video made it look. In my case the problem was getting the slide release hole to line up so the pin would go in. Finally was able to get everything to line up. Still is was well worth the trouble. Will order from M Carbo again.
SD9VE / SD40VE trigger spring kit performs as advertised.
I received my sd40se trigger kit and instalation was easy for the most part. The last operation of reinstalling the trigger was really difficult because you have to line everything up and untill you make exactly the rite moves everything will not line up. There is no almost its either rite or wrong. You have to have patience and i would advise watching the install video several times. All told money well spent . I would recomend product and company.
Had the factory 10.5 lb trigger pull. Quick and easy install. Dont have a trigger gauge but probably in the area of 7-8 lbs. Much improved trigger, nice and smooth. Good pull for a carry gun without a safety, no need to replace with lighter sear spring IMO.
I installed the kit with very little issues, other than "losing" the install pin in my work bench area. I looked for 20minutes for it, but ended up fabricating a new one. Didn't work quite as well, but got me thru the process. I was impressed with the pull reduction from 7lbs 10oz down to 5lbs 6oz. After a session on the range, i noticed that the trigger seemed to be catching on something, so a full disassembly was needed. I found no alignment or material issues to speak of. I reassembled the firearm with the factory items and found no binding of any sort at the range. My only suggestion is that you include a second install fixture, just in case:) Otherwise, a good product, just didn't work out for my firearm.

First off I always try to give as much of my business to veteran owned companies and as usual I wasnt disappointed.The shipping was kind of slow but when it comes USPS I never get in a hurry and in no way reflects on this company.The intructional vid was excellent and I had the springs changed in a half hour,tested the pull before and on my non digital Wheeler gauge it broke at over 8lbs and after it broke under 6lbs with a much easier break,Thanks for helping improve one of my least expensive firearms into a decent shooter,I will do business with you again
