After installing the trigger and trigger spring kit my trigger pull went from 5.5 - 6lb to 2lb.
Best instruction video on YouTube. Factory trigger 5 lbs a Mcarbo with spring kit just under 3lbs.If you’ve ever worked on 10/22 or AR trigger this will be a snap
Easy install following videos, get the spring kit and pin kit if you don"t buy the whole kit. Makes a world of difference.
Unfortunately this trigger went on my PC charger and whilst i am a big fan of flat triggers on my AR's, and my pistols, I am not a fan of this trigger. I thing the one previously offered with a little lip at the button was better(no longer offered). I The plunger is also too thin and it bounced around in the spring which is contributing to a gritty feel when depressing the trigger. Unfortunately the only item i found useful from this kit is the softer spring. I went back to th OEM trigger and plunger with only the M-CARBO trigger spring being used.
I was having problems when switching from a custom trigger glock to mi ruger carbine because I wouldn’t let it reset since the lengths was so different, an this was the perfect solution This is the 3rd I order, a couple of friends try it and love it to. Works great looks awesome and easy install. Thanks guys great job💪🏼👍
Not to hard to install thanks yo video provided, plus I got this trigger less than a week after ordering
This is my favorite upgrade to my Ruger PC. I purchased this because I was getting all the other upgrades from MCARBO for the PC. I did not expect it would make much of a difference, but for the price I decided to try it. Let me tell you the feel is amazing allowing your finger slip right to the sweet spot on the trigger. Although I did nothing else to the trigger mechanism it feels smoother and lighter. The short reset feels great. NOTE MCARBO recommends two twists of the screw for the reset. For my gun it was one and half for it to work properly, so make sure you check before completely reassembling your gun.
I installed this trigger at the same time as installing the trigger spring kit. This is a well designed, well made piece. Very comfortable and substantial. It has an all-over, silky smooth, finish. This trigger has several advantages over some competing products. This trigger has the correct shape for engaging the trigger return piston at the correct angle, no "skidding" of the trigger return piston, and thus it makes the most efficient use of the lighter trigger return spring from the spring kit. Also very important is the provision of an over-travel adjustment set screw. The factory trigger was adequate but not great. The rigidity and smoothness of this trigger is very welcome. The factory trigger was a bit "mushy". With this trigger you can almost forget its there, which is what you want. Good triggers do not call attention to themselves.
I'll admit I wasn't sure about this mod. But after getting it configured and installed it's a wonderful trigger. Just be careful, mine only needed 3.5 threads exposed, 4 or more the trigger wouldn't break.
I bought the spring kit along with the mcarbo after-market flat trigger for My PC 9 M-lock. It brought my trigger pull down to 3 lbs! The semi-flat face trigger ensures my trigger finger always has proper placement, for better leverage, and consistency. Well worth the time it took to install it, and the money spent. I also purchased the mcarbo heavy duty recoil spring, compensator, and stock pad. See my other reviews for write ups on these accessories.
This trigger upgrade was quick and easy. The look and feel of the trigger along with the replacement springs and pins made all the difference.
I replaced the triggers on two Ruger PC Carbines and what an improvement from the stock triggers! While the springs kits are no longer available, the overall feel and smoothness with this flat trigger makes a world of difference. I highly recommend this upgrade!
Fitted it with the spring kit and it is great!! Feels good and just the right pull weight
I found the trigger kit is working well as advertised and the installation video worked well and was very helpful. The only things would change are just personal preferences like anodized red trigger with texture face or with a curved trigger. All in all I highly recommend the kit for the Ruger pc carbine and the new blowback pad and spring kit. It has performed great after 500 ends.
This trigger does everything the write up says. Drops the pull weight to right around 2.12 to 2.14lb on my digital scale. Much nicer feel then the stock trigger. I also have the first generation of this trigger too. Honestly I like the 1st gen better but this one is also nice.
