The Ruger original isn't bad. This is much, much better. Completely worth it.

A lot beefier than the original. After looking at the two, you have to wonder why Ruger didn't do this themselves.
At first glance I thought “what for?” and “unnecessary.” But… I bought it because it wasn’t a bad price, even though I had my doubts about it initially. Let me tell you, after installing it and using it, I could NOT live without this MCARBO extended charging handle! It’s the best! Smooth machined aluminum and it feels great in the two fingers, vs just one finger placement with the smaller handle from the Ruger factory. I’ve seen some other brands with a rough sand-paper like knurled surface and I would hate that! This MCARBO one is fantastic. I used a little “blue” (temporary) Loctite on the threads and the charging handle’s overall fit, feel and function are superb!

Got this charging handle for the PC9 and it is everything the description says it is. Quality product and no problems installing it. Much better than stock. Recommended
The extended charging handle I purchased for my Ruger PC 9mm rifle has made an already good rifle even better. It reduced charging effort by at least 50% for me.
