Great kit!! Easy no Bull shit install! Glad to buy products from a 10 group buddy
I installed the spring kit for my 509 minus the firing pin spring due to numerous reviews stating it was causing light primer strikes. All other springs were installed and "poof", the grit was gone. The trigger from what I can tell still feels a little heavy ( I don't have a trigger pull scale), so I can't give an accurate weight at this time. So I will probably install the firing pin spring to see how the gun functions. I still hate the FN trigger and will be upgrading that in the near future.
Super easy install, just have to be patient and take your time. Having the installation video playing while performing the install makes it super simple.
Pretty easy to install watching the MCarBo YouTube video. Smoothed out my trigger press. Off to the range for live fire testing. Thanks MCarBo. Good stuff.
This spring kit paired with the Apex Enhanced Trigger Kit made both my guns just amazing. It took up the 5 mile take up and half the pull weight.
I put this in an FNS 9C. I guessed that since the involved internal parts are the same as the FN 509 this kit would work. The install was flawless following the instructional video. I have not fired the pistol yet, but every indication is that this will work just fine.
My friend installed this kit in my new FN 509 Tatical, checked the trigger before installing 7.17 pounds, followed the video and installed the new springs tested again now 4.14 pounds. What a difference, get one now you won't regret it.

The Fn509 trigger spring kit arrived quickly, definitely fast shipping which is awesome! The packaging was high quality and had stickers etc! I can say if it wasn’t for the instructional video , I’d still be trying to to figure out the installation ,so thank you guys for making the time to do a video!! The trigger pull has reduced drastically from an average of about 7.5 lbs to 4.5lbs and the reset is still excellent. I have full confidence with this as my every day carry. Have an FN509 Tactical with 1100 rds and the trigger want getting any better (7lbs). Ordered and installed the spring kit with your video and it really helped. Fat hands didn't help and the carrier spring went flying but I found it and the install was completed. Trigger pull went from 6lbs 9 0z down to 4 lbs 9 oz. Wow! Next I will install my Apex flatty for the finale. Cant wait to get shoot it.

The kit vastly improved the trigger but had 2 light strikes in 50 rounds. The light strike rounds fired in my other gun fine. Would go a tad heavier on the striker spring. Do not know what the spring rate is. Accuracy was awesome. Almost there.
I’m extremely excited to have this lighter trigger pull for my everyday protection. Did the drop test too because reliability is more important that looks! Every is copacetic! Thanks again MCARBO! Come and take it!
Just finished install on a FN 509c. Initial trigger pull was about 5.5lbs. After install the pull is 3lbs and more crisp and predictable. Changing the springs in the sear reduced the pull to 4-4.5lbs. Not sure I will leave it at 3lbs, but it sure is fun to play with right now. This is the eighth mcarbo kit I have installed and loved them all. Finding myself looking to see if mcarbo makes a kit before I purchase a firearm. Products are that good and affordable.
Well lest someone think the 3 stars are a reflection on M*Carbo that is not the case, the 3 stars are for the very poorly designed trigger system in this gun, as Chris had problems in the video with It sticking back without resetting is a consistent problem with the one I have and I was hoping the spring kit would help it but if anything it sticks worse now. But in all fairness the kit did the job it was intended to do, reduce the felt trigger pull, the one I have started with a 3 pull avg. on a Lyman Digital Trigger Pull guage with a 5 lb. 5.8 ounces, after the kit installation the trigger pull is a consistant 2 lbs. 9.4 ounces, a significant reduction but the sticking trigger problem still exists even with the grease applied as was shown in the video. Again Chris your kit works well and the video was outstanding, had a little problem with the sear carrier spring installation but managed okay. Thanks again for a great product, let me know if you come up with a sticking trigger solution for this piece of junk, I'm very disappointed with FN in this design, knowing they make most of our military weapons.
