I'm a rookie hunter and my hunting mentor suggested a lighter trigger might help get shots off a fraction of a second sooner. That's a big deal when you're hunting pheasant and chukar. I saw the TFB TV review of the Maverick 88 on Youtube and one of the upgrades they made was the trigger pull reduction spring kit from MCARBO. I watched MCARBO's how to video and was able to remove and replace the two springs in about 25 minutes. The trigger pull feels much lighter. Can't wait to get this in the field and shoot some birds.

I bought this mossberg spring kit to reduce trigger spring weight and it works good just be careful when installing the trigger that the trigger spring doesn't get caught in the hole for the transfer bar when you pull the trigger after reassembly it will bend the spring and it can't really be straightened out after that and you will have to replace it. it happened to me I haven't replaced my spring yet but will have to order a new one soon it's hard to see it in there when putting it together so be careful.
All I can speak of so far is the timely delivery and the installation video. Easy to follow video. Definitely buy the wooden install tool. Did two shotguns at the same time and the second was literally a 10 minute process. Looking for better weather soon to get out and try it.
Already got the springs installed. No issues with the installation, and they seem to have improved the trigger greatly. Highly recommend!
I installed this kit (trigger springs) in my Mossberg 500 shotgun. Reduced trigger pull by almost 50%. The Mossberg trigger group is extremely difficult to reassemble, but MCarbo has a fantastic video detailing each & every step of the way. I am very glad i bought this kit. In addition, MCarbo’s customer care is the best ive ever experienced. Sent emails to me immediately notifying me of my shipment, the another email asking if inreceived my products on time. I appreciate doing business with a Military veteran owned company. If you own a Mossberg, buy this kit!
Installed the new springs in the trigger action and thought it was a new gun the trigger was half the pull weight easily, wish I found this company earlier.The products and service are great,keep it up.

I couldn't be happier with the kit or MCARBO. I installed this in my wifes Mossberg 500 20 gauge and wow what a big difference it made. Its not a 2lb rifle trigger by any means but it makes the gun so much nicer to shoot. This is a must have for any Mossberg owner.
Quality product at a very reasonable price. Install was fairly straightforward, following the video. Mine took a bit longer than expected. My disconnector was very different looking than the one in the video. Spring location was also different. Took me a bit to get it figured out. Overall a fantastic difference in the trigger after all was done. I highly recommend this kit for any Mossberg 88 owner. Thanks MCarbo!
The spring kit worked very well, highly recommended it. The video made the installation a snap. While installing the kit I found that the safety part was poorly machined and I was able to clean it up with a file. The safety on my gun always worked hard and after the installation and cleanup the safety works well. The spring kit is a great upgrade to the trigger feel.
I am amazed at how fast the order was processed and shipped. Installation was quick. About 30min from disassemble to reassembly. I ordered the wood dial and it is a great help. The video is a tremendous help with installation. Trigger pull is 4.5#. Great product. Will do business again.
I was having problems with the 500A Mossburge not firing every shot. Now, its firing ever shot and the trigger pull is wayless. This spring kit was just what I needed. The only thing I wish I have done was video or take pictures of before and after. VERY SATISFIED VERY HAPPY!
