I ordered this spring kit for my 20 gauge mossberg 500 with rifled barrel. It will be used primarily for deer hunting. It lowered the trigger pull from 6-7 lbs. down to 4-4.5 lbs.The shipping was fast and service is great. thanks!
The only issue I had was the fact "it's much easier with the spring compression tool." I, probably like some others, didn't notice/purchase that tool. It would have been helpful to show an alternate method of assembly/disassembly.
Fast shipping. Took a pound off the trigger pull. A little pricey but, a good up-grade.
20 gauge Mossberg 500 reduced trigger pull from 7.5 lbs to 4 lbs the video made install a breeze and function is perfect.

Purchased the trigger spring kit and installation tool, installation took about 20 minutes. Trigger pull was 7 lbs before and 4 lbs after a reduction of 42.8%, very pleased with the results!
I received the part in a timely manner and installed it based on the installation video that mcarbo has on their website. The install was very simple and after putting the shotgun back together it performed flawlessly and the trigger was much smoother.

That little trigger return spring can be tricky so go slow and take your time. I did this for a friend and he says the trigger is perfect. Great upgrade and worth every penny.
Installed this in an 835 Ulti-Mag with a horrible trigger. Easy install, and lowered the pull from nearly 8 lbs. to 4 lbs. 12 oz. Perfect for a coyote gun. This is my second spring kit, the first for a mod. 500, worked equally well. I would recommend this spring kit to anyone who owns a Mossberg, at least an old one. I don't know if they've improved any over the years, but makes you wonder if anyone at Mossberg ever fired one their shotguns.
The parts took me a minute to install, as they are springs, and springs are prone to go BOING. LOL However, once installed, the trigger was noticeably lighter. These springs get 2 thumbs up.
My 500 trigger pull weight was ~4.5 # when factory new. This kit resulted in about 1 # decrease. Your shotgun's trigger might start out worse. Great, timely customer support when I thought that I might've dropped and lost the trigger return spring. Wife found it, thankfully.
Super easy to install when you watch the installation video and work along with it. I ordered the assembly tool along with the spring kit that is what made the whole process that tool. So I have not done any live firing so I am not reviewing it based off that, but from stock trigger pull, to how it pulls, once the MCarbo spring kit installed is day and night. It feels very smooth, nice clean break, and still a good crisp reset. I would recommend if you still haven't done this mod ! you don't need a gun smith or anything it's very easy for any avg. joe DIY'er.
Ordered late Thursday received Saturday and installed using the on line video (relatively easy). Noticable improvement in trigger pull. (Produced desired results) Hunted last evening of doe and shot a nice one! Didn't expect to try it till next season. Money well spent for a DIY trigger job!
