The Spring kit was very easy to insall after watching the video. My trigger pull was 6.75 lbs. before I started. After the install of the spring kit my tigger pull was 3.85 lbs. I could not be happier. Thanks Mcarbo.
Wow, what a difference. Straight forward install video. Crisp, just right for a battle trigger. Good hits on primer, reset is a joy. Shipping was incredibly fast.
He makes it look so easy in the video, but the mosbberg trigger assembly is an absolute pain in the ass. Definitely buy the tool they make to assist compressing the hammer spring to get that last pin through. I Jerry rigged a cheap metal allen wrench with a dremel to essentially make the same tool. Be cautious with the step where you drop in the trigger with the new spring. It's very easy to bend that spring if it gets hung up in the hammer spring channel. I ruined mine and had to put the OEM trigger spring in. I'm actually somewhat happy that this happened, because I didn't quite want my trigger pull weight in the 4 pound range. I'm fine with 4.5# on my ARs and handguns, but like a wee bit heavier on pump shotguns. My 590A1 had close to a 9lb trigger pull before installation. I only ended up putting in the new hammer spring (left the second inner spring out that 590a1 out) since the i bent the m carbo one. With the OEM trigger spring and new hammer spring, my trigger pull dropped to 6 lbs 2 oz to 6 lbs 4 oz. That is EXACTLY where I wanted it to be, so the mistake actually ended up being a pleasant surprise. The pump action also feels MUCH smoother now. I test fired several different shells, and i had zero light strikes. I would definitely recommend this product. I've dropped plenty of geissele triggers in ARs, and I thought to myself that it wouldn't be much harder. Dead wrong. I recommend getting a gunsmith. I got really frustrated and ended up bringing it into the local gunsmith before trying to.get it back together by forcing it and running the risk of breaking the trigger assembly. Definitely get the tool that m carbo sells to help with the hammer spring pin. It's SUCH a pain in the ass to.get in.

Ordered this spring kit. Took one week from the time I ordered it till I received it in Canada. Pretty happy with that. By just adding this kit I cut my trigger pull down to around 3lb

Amazing. With the low level of support from Mossberg, it is a relief to have a company that focuses on the customer and the needs of firearm owners. This spring pack works great. Bought to take my 11 year old granddaughter hunting and needed smoother, easier trigger action for her. This reduced the factory pull so she could concentrate on the target and it reduced her grouping to within the target deer's vital area.
