It is the best money you will spend on your shotgun.It was very easy to put springs. somebody should have done this years ago.
I installed on an 835 and a 500. Found the 500 was perfect at the advertised 4.75lbs. However the 835 only improved to 6.5lbs from 8.5lbs. Both sear engagements have been honed and polished and set screws adjusted with safety catch honed off to safe tolerances on both firearms. Just the difference in weapons I guess! Still a huge improvement. And for only $20! Highly recommend
I installed these springs about 3 weeks ago and the trigger pull is so much smoother and lighter now. I've put about 200 rounds of birdshot and 45 3"slug rounds through it and no malfunctions or problems at all. Makes the gun much more accurate.
These guys really do make some great products. This set was easy to install and the results were perfect. Light, smooth trigger pull and not one light strike. I have their springs in 3 of my guns and they’re all awesome.
I have purchased 3 sets of these. All have improved the triggers on my Mossbergs. The last one got my 835 down from 6 lbs to slightly under 4 lbs.
I purchase this trigger spring kit along with the stainless steel follower couldn't be happier with the purchase both items were easy to install and work just as described only wish they made more parts for my Mossberg.
Product was shipped fast enough. USPS took a couple vacations after they had spring kit in their possession. Installed easy. I'm a tinkerer and had modified my trigger pack, including working with the springs, years ago. This spring kit does pretty much the same without the experimentation (with risk of messing up) I had to do way back then. This is a risk free mod. Buy it
Appears to be as advertised! Haven’t had the chance to put it through its paces yet but there is a noticeable change in trigger squeeze pressure required to engage the trigger. Time will tell how it holds up but I don’t foresee there being any issues. I was also very pleased with the ordering and shipping process. I think I received the kit within 2-3 days after placing the order. I would definitely recommend.
Installed this spring kit on my maverick 88 that had an average trigger pull of 6.54 lbs. Now it's 4.15 lbs or a 36.5% reduction and I'm pleased with the result. I would recommend this kit to any Mossberg owner and the install video and optional wooden dowel spring tool was a huge help. MCARBO rocks !!!
Delivered the lighter trigger pull and clean reset as promised in the Maverick 88. Definitely buy or make the wood dowel hammer spring compression tool or you will struggle to remove the pin behind the hammer spring.
I have just got my new maverick 88 and was shooting it to pattern for turkey hunting and the trigger was so hard to pull so I started looking for a spring kit and found this site so I ordered it got the kit real fast and have put it in with looking at the great step by step video and I love the way it shoots now smooth and easy trigger now

I have been shooting S.G. for years and been upgrading them as well. This has to be one of the best upgrades one can do for the scatter gun! Trigger pull is now way better than the factory springs my Moss. 500 trigger group had come with. Thank you for an awesome product and for your service to this Country! "Follow Me!" 11B
Bought this after looking for a replacement for my used mossberg AB and i love it. The Install was easy (besides trigger pin being rusted tight) and it definitely makes a difference. Stronger hammer spring and a soft trigger makes for a great combo! Worth the 12.00 and 30 mins to install
Just recently got a brand new Mossberg Maverick 88. I am used to the trigger on my 30 year old BPS, and can't really complain about the trigger on my new $200 shotgun. The videos looked easy to install, and I have already used Mcarbo Springs on other guns. Delivery was quick, and I reviewed the video several times in advance. Disassembly was just like in the video. Reassembly was a little tricky, since my disconnector spring appears to be a redesigned configuration and took a bit of jiggling to get it recessed enough to proceed with the disconnector bar. I'd highly recommend application of some Super Lube on the recessed end of the trigger spring, the hammer strut follower & the hammer spring. I made a hammer spring disassembly tool from a tough bamboo chopstick and secured it into my bench vise - that way all I had to do was press the trigger assembly into it and slide in the crosspin. No fear of it slipping as could happen with benchtop assemble. It may be a cost cutting measure, or the assembler just forgot, but my hammer didn't have a Trigger Stop set screw, just the threaded hole. The local hardware store had a 4-40 X 3/8" setscrew for a whopping 23¢. The improvement is amazing. Blindforded, a shooter would never suspect it's only a $200 shotgun.
This spring kit really lowered the pull weight on my Mossberg 835 turkey gun. I'm very happy with the purchase.
