My trigger spring kit for the Mossberg 500 arrived a little over an hour ago. This is the second kit I've done with your product. The first was the Marlin 795. Once again you guys didn't disappoint me. It took me less than an hour to install on my Mossberg 500. I had checked the trigger poundage before and after the install. Stock was 6 lb 13 oz. After the install 4 lb 11 oz. Now if you can get one for my Ruger Mini 14 ! Thanks, Doug
I ordered a trigger spring kit for a Mossberg 500 and a Remington 870. Order # 526518. The measured trigger pull on the Mossberg 500 was about 6 1/4 lbs and about 6 lbs on the Reminton 870. After installing the kits the Mossberg measured 5 3/4 lbs and the Reminton measured about 5 1/2lbs. Your site stated the reduction in trigger pull would be about 50%, + or - 1lb. Very disappointing.
Ordered this kit after seeing it on Youtube. Only a few days wait ( including Easter holiday) to Norway is impressive. Install video on youtube is for the Mossy 500, but I installed it in the Mav 88. Installation is almost identical, but the Mav 88 trigger group is a little more complex. Cut my trigger weight in half, I'm guessing original pull was almost 12 lbs. Before this kit, I used to double check if the safety was left on, trigger pull was that stiff. Now it's more like a shotgun trigger should be. Also included some awesome 2A stickers :-) Would definately buy again. Customer service was top notch! Robin Norway
Easy to install and does what they claim. Tightened the groups I can produce, now if I shoot poorly its my fault, no the gun.
Just put the spring kit in my Shockwave tonight. Trigger pull doesn't seem hugely lighter. Don't have pull weights to share- my Lyman gauge is out on loan. Racking the slide is a whole lot easier, though. That original hammer spring (just one on mine) is a monster to compress. I used the trigger assembly tool from MCARBO. I was afraid I was going to break it. I would pay more for one made of aluminum or polymer.
Easy install. The instruction video points out key pitfalls and techniques. Having previously disassembled and serviced the trigger group, I didn't need the "special" tool. Small flat blade screwdriver works just as well. Just slide it in above or below the pin. Easy, crisp pull. Took down 2 deer this season with spring set. No more fighting the trigger with cold fingers in 20 degrees. Line up, breath and squeeze.
Offered the Mossberg 500 trigger kit and the installation tool. I also ordered the 3D printed gunsmith bench block since I was on the lookout for one anyway. The transfer kit was super easy to install. Just followed along with the video! Trigger pull is notification lighter. Thanks M-CARBO Team!

The installation on Mossberg 500 was easy following the instructional video. There is also an adjustment screw on the 500 trigger that allows you to remove some of the excess creep. (You can google insturctions.) Just don't take out so much creep that the safety no longer engages.
I just installed this on a used 835 ultimag turkey I just bought. The trigger was very spongy and broke at just under 5lbs. The instructional video (updated version) was excellent. I also bought the trigger assembly tool and was very happy I did as it made the install painless. Took me 10 minutes to complete. The trigger post MCARBO spring kit install had no more spongyness and broke very cleanly at 3lbs 5oz consistently over 10 pulls. Needless to say I am extremely happy!
I have a relatively unused Mossberg 500 20 ga and this install really sweetened up the trigger nicely. I had a little trouble with the trigger return spring and was kind of overthinking it, I guess. Chris made this look a pretty easy, but it wasn't for me. One suggestion I have is doing this part of the install with the hammer in the forward position. In this position, it is out of your way and you are not trying to maneuver the trigger and return spring around it. I would have hated to try this without the Trigger Assy Tool. This DEFINITELY made life easier and you can always use it in the future when you want to deep clean the trigger assy. Because after doing this install, you are going to know all about its operation. Very easy to install while watching the video from the website. Took it out to test and it shot great. I can't wait for turkey season to start. Thanks guys
Installed this spring kit in my Mossberg/Maverick 88, 20 gauge. The install was pretty simple and went smoothly but the results weren't as good as I expected. Starting trigger pull was 6.5 pounds on average. After install, the trigger pull is now 5-5.5 pounds. It brought the trigger pull down about 1-1.5 pounds. It might drop a bit more as it breaks in but don't I see the trigger pull reaching the 4-4.5 pound range even after break in.
Following the online video instructions, the trigger group housing was easily removed. Once out , removal of internal parts facilitating installation of springs is also easily accomplished. After putting in the pins required and trigger group into the stock, dry firing for function check resulted in what is advertised "a smoother feel and lightened trigger pull". You will not be disappointed by this product. Cheap and fast delivery as well.
Straight forward installation, throw down a towel to catch any parts trying to escape. Great youtube video. Did installation on youth model shotgun to ease trigger pull for child. Works as advertised.
