Part of upgrade suite of products for my Ruger PCC 19100. Installed easy, seated well, feels tight and snug just as your videos showed. Very tight function, and big difference in dry firing. Will test out fully at range once I have healed enough from knee replacement surgery.
Great upgrade as with the other M*Carbo options on my Ruger PCC. Best part is the excellent videos by Chris and crew to help throughout the install. Taking the time to ID each part and explain the purposes is awesome educational benefits!!!
Super simple drop-in part for my beat up stock buffer. I really didn't notice too much difference, but I did see a reduction in penalties from last night's to previous ASI Matches. Enough so, that I ended up in first place. Every little bit helps when talking fractions of seconds!!!
This part once installed reduces the forces of impact placed on the inner parts of your firearm. As part of the whole system as sold by M-Carbo, these parts bring up the performance and durability of my Ruger, now ready for action.
Thank you for such wonderful and well engineered parts ….. parts that give me a much improved sense of reliability with the PC9.
Outstanding support and installation videos. Installed at same time with new bolt lugs and MCARBO extractor. Parts work exactly as described and installation video, as with all other videos, made this so easy.
I replaced the recoil spring and the bumper pad. Also, the stainless clip. I fired my pcc prior to doing this mod and after. There is a big different in recoil action. The bumper pad is a good mod for preventive maintaince. I had no issues with cycling and firing the gun. everything worked smooth and flawless.
I don't know yet on this. one 160rounds downrange.
Recently installed MCARBO's new shock buffer and spring clip, trigger group replacement pins, and an extended bolt handle in(and on) my PC Carbine/Vortex Sparc II RDS set up. This week's range trip (09/24) was to test these parts and see whether there was any detectable improvement over stock parts. I used Fiocchi 147 gr JHP 9mm as my test ammunition; target was 25 meters at an indoor range, no ftf, fte, etc., over 75 rounds used in the test. Conclusions - I think the new buffer does help dampen the shock of this heavier ammunition, and I do like the larger surface and extra length of the bolt handle. An added plus - I had no issues with the new pins falling out when I pulled the trigger group out to examine and clean it. Re-firing for zero at 25 meters took less then 10 rounds, including 2 elevation corrections, no windage changes, spot on the bullseye for this test. Thanks, Chris and all. SteveB
Looks great, nice work. A needed part to stabilize the carbine.
I put this buffer in my new Ruger PC Carbine. I have put about 150 rounds through it with no issues at all. So far I am extremely happy with this product. It was a simple drop in replacement along with the stainless steel retainer. Thank you MCarbo! Keep up the great products!
Great product, Easy install, Great company. Will purchase from M*Carbo again
The buffer was installed on a brand new rifle so I have no performance comparison to the OEM part. I can say that it fit perfectly, even with a Volquartsen drop in trigger group. Some on the internet said there would be fitment issues. Can you believe the internet was wrong??!??
I was having trouble reassembling the trigger group because the stock Ruger buffer was worn out. Swapped it out for the MCARBO buffer and it seats completely flush and it's much easier to rack the gun now, and that's without the other upgrades like the spring. You have nothing to lose by trying this!
