No video for the XL...
Purchased with no intent of using the firing pin spring. I would never reduce the energy of a firing pin or hammer. Sear and slide safety springs were a decent fit, and the p365 still passed my caveman drop tests.
I just put this kit in my new P365. The video is great, however the new P365s have a new way to remove the slide stop. There are youtube vids that show it. While the kit did reduce the trigger pull, it only brought it down to 6lbs, not the 4lbs that is advertised. I was really hoping for more.
I have used mcarbo springs on a number of my rifles. This was my first pistol I’ve used them on. With the how to video it made it super easy to install. The springs made a very noticeable difference in the trigger pull weight. There is a reason I purchase from mcarbo over and over again. Great customer service with quality parts.
This spring kit is pretty nice, you can tell what a difference the first time you pull the trigger. I installed a flat trigger also and it was a smart choice. I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to have a lighter pull.
Took me about 20 min to install and definitely you can notice the trigger pull difference, got stuck for a bit but thank goodness they have the video step by step on how to do it!
Your video on the 365 only shows the old style striker assy so I was baffled for a few moments trying to get the plunger that didn't exist to depress. I have a newer XL so I searched utoob for a video which showed the difference between the old style striker & the new style striker. After I got the striker assy removed I followed your video, which was concise & easy to follow, I was done in about 40 minutes and as a bonus I learned the inner workings of this weapon. I took it to the range the next day and was extremely satisfied with the performance of the spring kit. It fixed the issues I'd had with low left flyers due to trigger jerk and my groups were now much tighter. The weapon is now a pleasure to shoot instead of a pain. My only suggestion; please update your video regarding the striker assembly. Thanks & Well Done Mcarbo.
This is my 2nd spring kit from MCarbo the other being for the S&W shield. Even with USPS losing my initial package MCarbo sent another one out. Outstanding customer service. This kit took a little while to get in but not anything terrible. Definitely not as fast as a Glock but doable. Took the trigger from maybe a little over 6lbs to 4.5-5. Definitely worth every penny.
Getting past the fact that your craftsmanship of product is exception, even more so is the quality of your instruction videos. Hands down the best company I have ever dealt with.
Install was straight forward, great step by step video. Trigger reset is flawless and lighter than expected, can’t beat it for the price! MCarbo needs to make kits for all Variants! Great work y’all, God Bless!
Fast shipping and detail in the instruction video are amazing. I have the 365 with a thumb safety and the newer striker sleeve back plate retainer... the videos the remove those are on you tube. The video on this website made me feel like I was in a college class. Great work guys.
This trigger spring kit is suppose to be for the SIG P365, P365XL & P365 SAS, my P365XL pistols manual safety all have 4.5lb triggers and your spring kit did not reduce the weight in any significant amount. the trigger was smoother afterwards, however I did some polishing of the trigger parts when I installed your spring kit. As far as service it was very good, I look forward to doing business with you in the future.
Good product easy install, as stated, will guy from again
Shipping was really fast even though they say they are short handed due to the Covid. Had a lot of fun putting the kit in, it was the most complex thing I have done with a gun but I liked the way it gave me a better understanding of the gun. Lots of rewinds for me but the video was great. My pistol is a P365 XL and there is a difference in removing the backplate from the slide but it wasn't anything you couldn't see and figure. Thanks MCARBO
Installed 2 kits in two different 365s. The NRA edition 365 is noticeably lighter with a crisper break. The 365XL with Romeo Zero is a little lighter but till exhibits stacking.
Install wasn't too bad but I did get several failure to fire with Win 115gr 9mm. Support said to go back to stock striker spring but keep the other two springs in. No more failure to fire same ammo. I asked about getting a replacement striker spring but support said its not needed for the lighter trigger pull. So no idea why it's in the kit. Got a new P365XL and can tell big difference against my P365 with mcarbo springs (not striker spring). Like the trigger so much that ordered again for my P365XL and will try all three springs again.
