Review
I installed this spring kit and added a flat trigger kit. WOW what a difference it makes. The video supplied in the link was great. I would highly recommend the spring kit. The flat trigger came from SIG. however if M cardo offered on I would have purchased it
MCARBO IS NOT JUST GOOD, IT'S NOT JUST BETTER, IT'S NOT EVEN JUST THE BEST. IT'S THE VERY BEST OF THE BEST! MY ORDER DIDN'T JUST ARIVE ON TIME--IT ARRIVED EARLY. REMARKABLE ASSEMBLY VIDEO--DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL. AND PERFORMANCE? WOW! FANTASTIC! THANK YOU, MCARBO. GENTLEMEN, YOU MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! DAVID M. GEHLHAUSEN DAVENPORT, FL
Work like charm. Great results!!! Love them on my 365's.
Worked like a charm. Product delivered promptly and worked as advertised. Improved trigger greatly. Very pleased!
These springs worked great on my P365. I haven't put the sear spring in yet and the pull on my trigger is great. Nice and crisp at around 3.5 lbs. Well worth it. Thanks mcarbo!!
Good instructions for a detailed install process. I did have 2 light strikes out of 50 rounds of very cheap Imported Steel case ammo. No issues with any other rounds. Trigger pull improved. Best when paired with a trigger bar polish.
I purchased this to upgrade a p365 XL. With just the installation of the striker spring and striker block spring, I already see a 1/2 pound reduction in trigger weight. I plan to run it at the range as it is now before attempting the sear spring installation. One item of note is that the disassembly of my slide was slightly different than the video indicated; for my p365xl, the lock to remove the back plate is pushed to the side instead of being pushed inward… minor change but could be frustrating if the part was marred or damaged trying to push it inward.
Installation was not quite as easy for me as the video made it look bit I got through without too much difficulty. Took it to the range today. Definitely worth $20 to improve the P365 trigger! And was just as reliable as before.
Did this full install on my p365xl. Video was clear, but the job was much more than I anticipated. After much cussing and bleeding, I finally installed the sear spring. Trigger felt awesome. Was very impressed. Unfortunately, I got the dreaded light primer strike. 1 out of 40 after hundred of rounds prior to the install with no issue. It was enough for me to return to the OEM striker spring after reading many of the reviews here. Trigger feels better than stock, but not like it did with the full install. I need this gun to be reliable though and thought it best to go back.
Great spring kit. It really improved the weapon.
First off, love Sig, always have and was super excited when the P365 arrived. I obtained an XL with the Romeozero sight package, unfortunately, the trigger left quite a bit to be desired. For starters, it was functional, but I had this weird break, if I slowly pulled the trigger, trigger would reach the end of travel, move no more, then if you continued to apply like 10 more pounds of pressure, boom it would fire. Oddly, if you provide a smooth press, it worked okay, heavy and didn't feel great but functional. Just installed the MCarbo kit and wow, amazing feel. Can't wait to take it to the range. Smooth, predictable 4lb break. Love it!! Also, my complements on the video, couldn't do it without it, very well done!! Follow the video closely, have the right punches and gunsmith glue and you won't have an issue. One item I'll mention. If you have a newer 365, the removal of the back plate is slightly different. Instead of a straight back press of the little plunger, you have to move it slightly toward the center of the slide (rotate left as viewing the underside of the slide) then push reward, it'll work.
Huge advocate for this. For the price, I don’t know why you wouldn’t unless you are uncomfortable installing it. I received mine yesterday and put 300 rounds through my XL. Ran flawlessly as usually. I was lucky with a stock 5 pound trigger so this only took it down about a pound. The weight is noticeable, but the crispness is what sold me. A significant improvement and for $20 again why not!
For P365XL. Read reviews from other XL owners saying the difference is not noticeable in the XL version (but is noticeable on the normal P365). So I bought on the skeptical side. Installed and... Smoother trigger pull. Pull reduction is decreased noticeably. And of course with smoother trigger and pull reduction comes tighter groups. I don't have a fancy trigger scale but I have installed APEX DCAEK trigger kits in MP shields and would say the trigger springs make a similar difference (although not quite as drastic since the DCAEK also swaps striker block and the trigger bar itself) For $20 it is on the list of highly recommended for other XL owners. Don't forget to get a bunch of their PTFE grease tubes. I have 1 stuffed away in grip handles and cleaning kits they are perfect size.... Wish I bought more I only got 4 tubes. Only used 1 for this install and had about half left over of a single tube.
It reduced the creep to almost non existent. And the trigger pul to 50% the stock trigger pull. The how to videos were superb, I could NOT have done it without the video. WELL DONE. Thank You.
Had MCARBO do the installation for me. Work was done promptly and well. Took P365 to the range. Very happy with the feel of the "new" trigger. I would recommend this spring kit.
As a result of having a strong preference for lighter and smooth triggers, I recently purchased and installed this kit after review of video. Results were as advertised, testing with Wheeler gauge over 5 pull averages. Pre-work yielded an average of 5lbs 13oz followed by 4lbs 11oz upon completion. I did polish sear to further smooth action while apart. I would point out in the video, if installing into a P365 XL, to move the striker sleeve/housing toward the left to aid in slide disassembly. I did see a very brief video of this on You Tube if interested. I did field test and groups improved using my target practice reloaded 9’s. I recently added a Holoson 507K X2 optic prior to this spring replacement which required additional adjusting during testing. I would certainly recommend this kit if a fella is a trigger snob like myself, because it certainly improves pull and isn’t too light, which I believe one should be careful with a semi-auto piece. The attached photo depicts groups shot at 10yds using my reloads of 4.6g Bullseye with 115g Berry and Extreme copper plated bullets over a rest. Shot close to 50 rounds total with final adjustments made on top left black square. The other scattered rounds were from much greater distance playing around before adjustments without changing to a fresh target. M Carbo did a great job with video and has it right!
