Review
Amazing, the Trigger Spring Kit was so easy to install with the installation videos that M-CARBO produces. I was so proud of myself I did all the work. The quality of the Kit is right on target. My trigger pull is so easy and smooth, and I owe it to the quality of the Trigger Spring Kit. Let me show you a picture of my pride and joy, P365.
Installed the MCarbo trigger spring kit in my new P365x Macro, with factory trigger pull measurements 6 - 5.5 lbs., with upgrade new pull averaged 3.5 lbs. with significant improvement in smoothness through the break and crisp reset.
The Kit performs as advertised. It has my Strongest Endorsement. M*CARBO's P365 Trigger Spring Kit installed easily in my NRA Model. At the Range, I shot 330 rounds. Trigger Action was consistent and smooth. My P365 NRA effortlessly ate all 9mm FMJ and JHP Lawman cartridges. > BEFORE: NIB Trigger Pull varied from 7lbf 0oz to 8lbf 2oz. > AFTER: Trigger Pull is repeatably 4lbf 8oz (+/- 2oz). > NOTE: Trigger Pull was measured (4+ samples for each test) using a Wheeler Engineering Pull Scale (spring-type, accuracy unspecified). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. During Kit installation, I polished and lubricated "select" sliding and rotating contact surfaces. Now Trigger Action is "smooth-as-silk" for the first 95% of Travel. The final 5% of Travel has a mild "gritty feel". This is caused by Sear/Striker sliding-friction. This can be fixed. OPTIMIZATION of the P365's Action: 1) M*CARBO P365 Trigger Spring Kit install; 2) M*CARBO Flat Trigger install; 3) Polishing and lubrication of "select" Fire Control Unit sliding and rotating contact surfaces; 4) Perform (or Obtain) a Sear/Striker "Job". FULL DISCLOSURE: My P365 is a "First Time" Visit to the Dark Side (ie, Purchase of a striker fired handgun). I am a 1911 "True Believer" that had never experienced an "acceptable striker-fired trigger". Then, a friend (and Law Abiding Gun Dealer and Veteran War Fighter) let me check-out his personal P365. His gun was modified with a Flat Trigger. Well, I was impressed. I put $$$ on the counter, took home my P365 NRA striker fired handgun, installed the M*CARBO KIT, ordered the M*CARBO Flat Trigger and am getting ready to do a Sear/Striker Job.
This is a great trigger reduction kit. The trigger felt lighter but was consistent and reset remained the same. I highly recommend this for carry.
I followed the install video and got to the sear spring, which has the short leg and long leg. He made it look so easy, I was cussing at him for a while and gave up about midnight. I started out in the morning with some more cussing at him, and then I began to pray. I have cancer, which exhausts me all the time, so I am constantly running on fumes. I was worn out, when I got the pin through and there was good tension on the sear. I was stunned with happiness! It works GREAT!! That's my story and I am sticking to it. Thanks for the product and video!
I installed the Mcarbo P365 Flat Trigger and loved it so much I bought another for my new build. After adding these Mcarbo Spring Kits with the Mcarbo Trigger its a game changer. I highly recommend this. 🔥🔥🔥
The striker block is what causes the "boing" when you pull the trigger. Changing that and the sear spring will give a crisp, excellent CCW trigger while maintaining factory reliability! That's what I do and that's my personal suggestion. I had a few hard primers/light strikes with the striker spring installed, so I switched back and had a trigger/gun that I shot better than my Canik Mete SFX Pro. The break is far crisper and it isn't too heavy...great for a CCW oriented gun. A must have! I bought one years ago and must buy another for my newer gen slide with threaded barrel, comp, and EPS Red 6.
I was a bit skeptical about this when I first saw these. I ordered first one and installed it. Also installed a flat trigger. Holy crap! It worked and then some. I'm very pick about my pistols and triggers. The pull was smooth and broke when it should at about 4.25! So, I ordered a 2nd one for the wife's p365. Thanks again brothers and sisters at mcarbo! Oh and the install video.....spot on! Easy to follow!
I've installed this kit and it took the P365 from being a great ccw solution with awful trigger to a perfect gun. The trigger is smooth and consistent without being unsafe for carry. Great kit, worth every dime.
Amazing spring kit and instructional video that allows you to transforms the stock trigger pull from a solid D to a B rating. Sig should take note and provide them this way from the factory. KUDOS M-Carbo! Jobs well done on this one.
Perfect product. Few spring kits deliver real world results but this one puts its money where its mouth is. 100 percent every bit of performance claimed and then some. I went from shooting all over the place with this micro compact to groups as small as my full sized race gun. This should be Sig X series factory parts.
Installed spring kit, great instructions, awesome YouTube instructional. Test fired 100 rds in Rapid succession, had 1 light primer strike.... 1 percent failure rate in a carry gun is unfortunately unacceptable. I read another review that also ran into this issue. I will change out there firing pin spring back to stock (like other review) and will now run 200 rds. To test again. If this means anything this is the second Gen p365 with different firing pin cup, don't know if that changes anything but wanted to be precise.
I did the trigger and spring kit. I really like the way it feels; however, like other reviewers, I'm getting lots of light primer strikes and will go back to the stock striker spring to see if that fixes it. If not all return all the spring to stock and stick with just the trigger. I tried to re-fire several of the light strike rounds and most would not fire. I then put them in my other stock p365 and they all fired on first try and multiple hits with spring kit gun. If buying this kit I would suggest not installing the striker spring.
Oh man, I'm thrilled, I've recently purchased the Spring Kit for my EDC Sig P365 and I Love it! Installation was tricky at least for me because I'm not versed on these stuff, but the YouTube video MCarbo has online helped a million, makes it easy to be honest even for someone like me. 110% recommend this product and I've become a fan of these guys.
I have completed three of these as of today. One for myself and two others for my father and a friend. The feedback from myself and the others is nothing less than “love it so much better”!. The video that MCarbo has done is extremely well done and is most needed to complete the job. It done with extreme efficiency, to the point, great camera angles, and not a long drawn out and overly communicated process. I have also done two Sig P938’s with the same success. I cannot recommend this company’s products enough.
This kit does an amazing job at reducing the pull by an noticeable amount! Put about 100 rounds in it since installing…buttery smooth Trigger pulls.
