Took the trigger down to 4.5lbs. Huge difference. Love it.
I watched the instructional video on youtube while doing it. Paused it a few times. The first time I didn't install the sear spring properly and had to start over. Took about an hour and a half for me having to go back and whatnot. Fun project. Trigger pull definitely feels lighter. Still crisp. At the same time I also took this opportunity to replace the stock trigger with a flat trigger. And I replaced the backplate on the slide with a cool custom.
Prior ro installing this kit, I had a trigger pull on the P365 of around 6.5 - 7lbs. I know, it was high and only increased my excitement of going from 6.5 to 4lb pull. After installing the kit, trigger pull is a fairly consistent 5.5 lbs, far from 4 lb's. I have not polished any of the parts and have run any rounds thru it since I installed it but I am expecting that when I put another 300 - 500 rounds thru it, there should be more improvement. I have a rather new p365 and the video's were very helpful but not specific to my pistol. The striker removal is a little different, the seer is slightly different in that there is a hole for the sear spring in the seer making it a little easier. All in all, not a difficult swap out but not a 4lbult.
Recently received this trigger spring kit and followed the excellent mcarbo installation video to install it. Did not take long at all. About 30 minutes. The trigger feels way better than stock!! Super excited to go range test it. Most importantly, glad to by US made product by our beloved and respected veterans! Thank you for your service gentlemen! Much appreciated!!!
this spring kit sure made my sig 's mushy trigger much better. average pull weight is now 3.11 lbs. i was never happy with my P365 trigger until now. definite improvement for a very low cost. kudos again to MCARBO !!!
Couldn’t find a video that included dealing with a safety. My son and I figured out how to remove it for the last spring installation. PITA, but very doable. Huge difference in trigger pull! Much smoother, softer, and the wall is gone. Much more consistent with hitting head shots at 25 yards. Quick note: some videos did not show much of a difference before/after with the new spring kit. I noticed the same thing with the first 5-7 trigger pulls. But after putting 2 mags of dummy rounds through my p365xl, the difference was VERY noticeable.
Although handling the small parts was a challenge for me, I was able to to install the kit. The difference is immediately notable. Can't wait to shoot the fire arm...
I received my order within a day or two of ordering. M*Carbo’s YouTube instructional video was top notch for helping upgrade the springs in my P365. The video was slightly out of date as to current methods for removing the striker assembly, but that info is easy to find elsewhere. I took the opportunity to add a flat trigger during the spring upgrade. Smooth as butter.
I'm former military and haven't picked up a weapon in ages. liked that they send you the video on how to install the Trigger springs and removal of the old as well as greasing points for holding the springs in place while re-assembling. Wished they would of thrown in some greasing they used in the video but hind site is 20-20. keep it up how about a Sig Sauer P365XL threaded barrel? just saying. lol
I’m no gunsmith, but followed the video & everything went fairly smoothly! Highly recommend!
I put this kit in my p365xl. I was having trouble with a very inconsistent trigger pull and I was becoming concerned with reliability issues on my concealed carry. This 20 dollar trigger kit made a huge difference! Consistent 4lb pull every time and the reset is super short and crisp. If your looking for something cheap to clean up your trigger this is exactly what you need
Even with a skeleton crew, this product shipped the same day (when I ordered mid afternoon mst) and got here soon after. Big retailers need to take note and get back to the basics. The spring kit itself was simple enough to install, not as easy as a glock but easy enough (that's not due to the springs thought, thats the difference in weapon manufacturers).I do not have a pull gauge but the weight reduction is noticeably different. Now, I just need to reduce the travel. Awesome job Mcarbo.
Have a newer 365 so removing the back plate is a little different than the video shows, no big deal. Watched, re-watched got the set installed. Like the feel of the trigger. Put some rounds down range and really like it.
i bought this spring kit after watching the installation video on youtube. i bought a stripped fcu and put it together from scratch. haven’t even put a round through the new pistol but because of the video and how well made it was i figured why not give the spring kit a go. instructional was well made and easy to understand. after installation the trigger pull is almost 2 lbs lighter than the stock and consistent. excited to put this pistol on my ccw. thanks!!!!
Ordered on line 2x in the past month on new items. Very fast shipping, easy product display and details, Loved the videos on modifying my pistols. Products in stock each time also.
Got this kit for my daughter's P365. Other than the striker cover being stubborn the install was very easy. It brought the trigger down to almost 4lbs. The price was very reasonable.
